I think if I told her I was trying to be a vegetarian, she'd make fun of me. I keep having odd dreams about eating meat, though. I keep dreaming I think things like, "Only one time."

How does she know not to cook you meat then? Maybe you should tell her? I think if it's something you believe in then maybe she won't tease you about it so much.

All the bread is made with milk and some of the more pastery like bread is made with eggs.

Amateur Author Age: 16 Gender: Female Posts: 177	July 19th, 2008 at 11:46pm I was vegan for close to a year but the lack of nutrients started to get the best of my health and my mother wouldn't bother to buy me the vitamins I needed so my doctor instructed me that I needed to start eating "normally" again or else my health would become horrible I'm back to being vegetarian again and I really want to become vegan again but just a question do you think it'd be a bad idea for my health or should I just not care?

You should definitely care about your health, but if you want to become a vegan and are worried about the lack of nutrients then make sure you can organise a balanced diet in which you get all of your vitamins and minerals.

I had a chat to the baker after my shift the other night and he said bread is made with milk. I also checked on the net and found recipes made with milk. Maybe it just depends on the bread?

I'm thinking about giving it up for a month or so, to see how I cope with it, and choose whether to continue on with it afterwards or not depending on how it goes.

Trying it out for a month is a great idea, although I found the first month is the hardest ;D Don't listen to what your friends and parents say; if it's something you really want to do, then tell them just so and they should respect that. Explain your reasons to them and they might be a little more open to the idea.
