| Heartstrings. Fanfic Fanatic Age: 14 Gender: Female Posts: 2703 | feltbeats.: ![]() You'll be able to do it. Remind me when you are done though. I would love to read it. I read one where Harry was 16 and Voldermort became Tom Riddle again or something along those lines. Its a magical realm, they can make anything up. It can be non-consensual if you're up to it though. I understand that feeling. Most authors find it difficult getting Peter just right because his presence wasn't under very good terms besides the fact that in the last book, he hesitated in killing Harry. In my opinion, I think he can be witty too. He's pretty fast thinking, he's just not good with getting his stories straight whih is why he gets into a lot of trouble. He was in Gryffindor for a reason so therefore, I think he has admirable character traits but a moral weakness that leads to his downfall. OMG YUSS! ![]() They'll let us have the reels too. ![]() Those unused ones. ![]() |
| Vanete Druse. Fanfic Fanatic Age: 13 Gender: Male Posts: 1917 | Heartstrings.: Thanks! I'm nearly done letter two, since it's going to be all letters. ![]() Consensual...non-consensual. Choices, choices. I'm up for anything in the magical realm. But you're right, anything is possible. I could even do an AU one, where Tom Riddle never went insane power-crazed Voldemort. Maybe he was just a rapist of innocent little raven-haired boys. ![]() You're right, and I've never really thought of it that way. I was too busy shooting him dead for killing James, which killed Sirius, and also killing Remus! Yes, I can blame him for all of that, yes I can. And the Marauders are some of my favorite characters. How dare he! ![]() I do like your opinion of him, and probably true. But he also hero-worshipped the Marauders, and I think that's also part of the reason they stayed friends with him for so long. We see that whoever has power, he tends to grovel and beg for. We know that the Marauders were rather influential and popular amongst their classmates, so Peter wants to be a part of that, and he tags along. But then, the Dark Lord comes up, and he betrays them because the Dark Lord kind of pwns the Marauders when it comes to power. In some ways, it's more of a saving himself tactic; get in with whoever is powerful/influential, and you're saved until their boat sinks. To use...and film with. ![]() |
| Tom Fletcher. Cliché Catastrophe Age: 23 Gender: Male Posts: 736 | ^ *has just caught up with this thread*I'd be so scared of writing hxc Harry/Draco. I just... don't think I could do it. And yes, I will help sue. xD feltbeats.: Oh yeah. Big time. On the way to France we had the audio book of HBP playing in the car xD I was like *squee* when it mentioned Draco (as you do) and my cousins were like o_O... *is so not a Draco fangirl* ![]() But anyway, I just read that the release date for HPB movie has been pushed back to JULY 2009!!! Please tell me this isn't true! *cries hysterically* |
| Vanete Druse. Fanfic Fanatic Age: 13 Gender: Male Posts: 1917 | Yeah, hxc Drarry is really hard, especially porn. >_> You have to really capture the feeling right and it's just like... So while I love Drarry, and it's my favorite pairing, and I love to write it, I do agree that it is amazingly difficult. 90% of the time I'm just like, "Yeah. This isn't as good as I want it to be." But I'm a dork, so I put it on Mibba anyways. ![]() I hate audio books. I guess because I read so fast the way audio books are set up drive me insane. >_> But I would have been doing the same, trust me. I go *squee* every time Draco is mentioned when I read. My parents tend to ignore my screams. (No, I'm serious. I was reading Artemis Fowl once and I screamed and it wasn't until about thirty minutes later that my mom asked me what was wrong. They know me too well. )It is. And now Twilight has filled in the spot of HBP. I bet you WB did this to fuck with us fans. They were like, "What can we do to piss off all of these hardcore fans? Last time we made a shitty rendetion of the kickass book. But this time we need another tactic. Something they'd never see coming. OOOO I KNOW! Let's set a date and get them pysched, and then set it back five million years when everyone is excited!!" And then some intern said, "Well, what if they protested and it got through? Especially if the film is done, we can't just horde it for five million years." So they all thought about it and some other random dude was like, "You know, that other fantasy film, Twilight? The one that all the fans compare HP to and are practically rivals? We could always offer them the Nov. 21 spot so that HBP will have a nice, secure spot five million years from then. Since there isn't any more movie spots for HBP to squeeze into during that time, you know?" But that's just my theory. ![]() |
| Heartstrings. Fanfic Fanatic Age: 14 Gender: Female Posts: 2703 | feltbeats.: That sounds unique. I'm gonna be sure to check it out for sure. I love unique writing styles or structure. It keeps me entertained. .Then I will not forget you can hold a grudge. But yes, he was a very unloveable character up until the fifth book where I thought back on the Marauder's relationship. But everything you say is true. He is a rather complex character if you think about it The internal battle he faces as he deals with his own betrayal of his friends. Its a tough life after. Especially the guilt and he's not a bad person. He's just a good person who has done bad things. I feel sorry for him. ![]() ![]() Oh yeaaah. ![]() |
| Peter Petrelli. Parkman's Age: 17 Gender: Female Posts: 26803 | I'm tempted to write an article about Warner Bros just milking the cash cow Because it's all they're doing ._. |
| Vanete Druse. Fanfic Fanatic Age: 13 Gender: Male Posts: 1917 | Heartstrings.: It was just a random thought I had whilst writing that post. Maybe I'll do it now, I dunno. I haven't even started it yet, I'm so bad. Yes, I can hold a grudge, especially when some of my FAVORITE CHARACTERS have been killed. DEAD. As in really, really, never-coming-alive-again DEAD. ![]() I don't know if I can agree to the 'good person who did bad things' about Peter. It's just...he knew what he was doing, right? And he did it anyways because he'd rather save himself than his friends. Sirius would have died for James, yet we see that Peter instead sold him out. After this, though, the Dark Lord falls, and Peter Pettigrew scampers away, to a gentle life with the Weasleys...but then goes back to Voldemort when Sirius found him out, and also because of Trelawney's prophecy. So yeah, he's scared of Voldemort and may regret turning in James, but the fact remains that he still did it! To save himself, no less! Selfish, selfish, selfish. I cannot forgive. ![]() RoR porno! I mean... Sectumsempra scene! ![]() |
| Tom Fletcher. Cliché Catastrophe Age: 23 Gender: Male Posts: 736 | feltbeats.: Stephen Fry talks at about nought point one times the speed that I read. While it was kind of interesting to hear a different persepective of how he read it, the way he did Draco's voice was just plain irritating. It's like, 'get it right, goddammit! Can't you capture the emotion in his voice?' feltbeats.: I do agree with your theory. WB doesn't seem to give a shit about how the fans feel, so long as they get more money. And the film better live up to expectations after all this hype and delay time or I will be very, very angry. Like, seriously, sueing them won't be enough vengeance. Another twelve months to wait until I can have teenie moments over Draco's despair... ![]() |
| Vanete Druse. Fanfic Fanatic Age: 13 Gender: Male Posts: 1917 | Another reason I don't like audio books. What if I don't like the voice of the guy talking? What if he fucks up the way I think MY character speaks? Too much agony for one little simple thing. I avoid them. I said this way before the delay thing. Way before: "If they mess up the HBP then I will shoot the director. Until he dies. And then I'll come after the crew, and the producers, because they let the director mess it up. And then if an actor does a REALLY bad job, like offenisevely BAD job, I will hunt them down too." And now the delay happened. It's as if WB read my mind and was like, "No. Fuck this chick! Her demands are too much! Let us delay as we all go into hiding from this crazy fan." Another twelve months? Jeez, it sounds so long. THAT'S A YEAR. *sobs* A year before I can sit and cry in the movie theatre over Tom Felton's performance... ![]() |
| Tom Fletcher. Cliché Catastrophe Age: 23 Gender: Male Posts: 736 | ^ *hugs* It's making me more determined to see Twilight now, if I can find anyone that will come with me to the movies. I want to see why WB could think they could justify setting HBP back a year - because they can't. Twilight could be a masterpiece of a film but I will never forgive these people for setting the film release back. Isn't there anything anyone can do? Letters, petitions, protests... knives, guns, death threats? |
| Vanete Druse. Fanfic Fanatic Age: 13 Gender: Male Posts: 1917 | I love Twilight, really, I do. But when I heard it was in HBP's place, I got pretty pissed. The first thing I thought: "I'm supposed to be seeing HBP on Nov. 21, NOT twilight, fucking WB bitches!" Aren't I nice? It's just...I've been waiting for HBP for far longer than Twilight. I don't think it's fair that I get that first. ![]() |
| Tom Fletcher. Cliché Catastrophe Age: 23 Gender: Male Posts: 736 | ^ I agree. Like, ever since the book came out I've been dying to see the film version, as it's my favourite Potter book of them all. And... GAH, basically. I'm just going to kill myself with suspense over waiting for the Sectusempra scene. And the bit where Draco breaks Harry's nose (they better put that in, I swear to god...). And Dumbledore's death. And the young Tom Riddle scenes. And the Harry/Ginny kiss. And.... ...you get the idea. |
| Vanete Druse. Fanfic Fanatic Age: 13 Gender: Male Posts: 1917 | ^^ I agree. Now that I think about it, OotP isn't my favorite, HBP is. ![]() I think they are, I saw this youtube video a long time ago where Draco was casting this spell in what looked like a compartment, can't be sure though. And I saw a pic of Harry/Ginny kissing. And the trailer had some young TM scenes. I just hope they put in the majority of the fucking book. Or I'mma shoot someone. ![]() Nice theme. ;D |
| Tom Fletcher. Cliché Catastrophe Age: 23 Gender: Male Posts: 736 | Yeah, I saw the trailer and the Tom Riddle scenes, but I want more! :[ *goes to search for the H/G pic* xD Why thankyou. Same to you. ![]() |
| Vanete Druse. Fanfic Fanatic Age: 13 Gender: Male Posts: 1917 | I want more too. LIKE THE SECTUMSEMPRA SCENE. ![]() I wonder what Tom Felton would say if he saw these posts and the pictures thread right now. ![]() |
| Tom Fletcher. Cliché Catastrophe Age: 23 Gender: Male Posts: 736 | I imagine hope he would say something along the lines of, 'These two young ladies seem quite intrigued by me. I would rather like to make their acquaintance.' Why I imagine him talking posh like that is beyond me ![]() *cough* I can't wait to see more of Snape too. Alan Rickman plays him so well and his role, like Draco's, is diminishing in each film. I want more, dammit! *shakes fist* |
| Vanete Druse. Fanfic Fanatic Age: 13 Gender: Male Posts: 1917 | ![]() Thanks to you, I just imagined Tom Felton in one of those 1800s suits with one of those eye glass things and a pipe in his mouth. ![]() Yupyup. Snape is another one of my favorites. I have a lot of favorites. Alan Rickman does do a good job. And his voice...![]() |
| Tom Fletcher. Cliché Catastrophe Age: 23 Gender: Male Posts: 736 | ![]() ='] Oh yeah. If Alan Rickman was the one who read the HP audio books, I would not get bored. ![]() I'll watch anything with him in, though. He's just so sexy for an older man and a great actor. xD I can't imagine anyone else as Snape. |
| Vanete Druse. Fanfic Fanatic Age: 13 Gender: Male Posts: 1917 | If he read for the HP audio books, fuck reading alone! I would just listen to it. Over and over. ![]() Nor can I. I remember watching Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and just being like, "=O THAT ROBOT IS SNAPE! ITS SNAAAAAAAAAAPE!" and my dad was like, "....that's nice." ![]() |
| Tom Fletcher. Cliché Catastrophe Age: 23 Gender: Male Posts: 736 | I wacted that movie at my freind's house with her parents and had a total spazz when the robot started talking. I was sat there going bright red with containing my manic laughter ![]() [/slightly off topic] "Turn to page three-hundred and ninety-four." ![]() |
