Homosexuality isnt natural, but then nothing humans do is anymore.

You kind of contradicted yourself alot there.
I think that it is natural, anything a person considers to be within their *own* norms is natural for them. It may not be natural for *you*, though.
Its like saying... dying your hair isn't natural. I mean, yeah, its artificial hair colour, but its so socially accepted to dye your hair whatever you want its considered "natural" or "normal"

I don't think I made alot of sense then :/

Accually it is, because as someone said either earlier in this threaqd or in another that natural means something that is with nature, and lots of animals have homosexual and/or bisexual relationships. So yes, it is natural.

Homosexuality occurs in nature.
A 1999 review by researcher Bruce Bagemihl shows that homosexual behavior, not necessarily sex, has been observed in close to 1500 species, ranging from primates to gut worms, and is well documented for 500 of them.

My brother in law used to think that Homosexuality was a pshchological thing, because that's what his dad taught him, because he was really religious,
So, I did tonnes of research and just presented fact's that he couldn't say were wrong. [Kinda like the big bang vs. evolution, in my opinion.]
He used to fucking hate them, and now, he talks to one of my best friends, who's a lesbian, on MSN all the time.
It's weird, I guess.

My brother is the same. He used to constantly go on about how homsexuals were a freak of nature but then he met his friend who is gay and he's much more accepting of it now.

It's different when you meet someone who is gay, according to this documentary I watched, because then you see them as a real person. Not just a stereotyped perverted sinner who flicks his wrist and only drinks pink lemonade. When you see someone as a person, it sort of takes away your fear. Granted, I know homophobes that know gay people, but they don't see them as people.

^ Yeah, I think a lot of the time meeting someone who is gay can really change your perspective.

But did anyone see that documentary from the Supersize Me guy, 30 Days? He sent a homophobic woman to live with a gay couple with two adopted children for a month and she still thought that homosexuality was wrong by the end. It was really disappointing.

My stepmom has a gay daughter and a bisexual son. She still hates homosexuals.

Some people might not get used to the idea of gay/lesbian/bi's. Hopefully most people will though. Smile

I read somewhere that the reason more women are bisexual than men is because in prehistoric times, the men would be gone for long periods of time hunting, leaving the women in each other's care. They'd gain closer friendships and sometimes fufill sexual needs with each other.

I do think that meeting someone who is gay greatly changes your perspective on homosexuality.
As I mentioned before, my mom's brothers are both gay.
And the rest of the family doesn't love them any less. I actually met one of their boyfriends, he is so cute.
Very Happy
But then there's my cousin, who's 17 and a lesbian and who has a girlfriend. See, because they dress emo/goth-ish and because they tend to exhibit PDA, [not as much as before though] my family less openly accepts them.
It's kind of funny, I guess it just depends on how much people can take.
It's weird to see how open each of the siblings are too [my mom has 9 siblings]
There's my Auntie Jessie, who has no problem with it, my mom, who is slightly bothered by it, and my Aunt Val, who doesn't even know her own daughter is gay, although everyone else does.

That's what happens in women's prisons in present-day.

Did you hear that US Presbyterians voted to allow homosexual clergy?

Good.
Maybe that will help curb this new trend of people thinking "judgmental" and "anti-gay" whenever they hear the word "Christian".

How would something that a group of people did a long long time ago affect any of us today? The only things that we get from our ancestors are their genes, not their sexual orientation.

Some believe that sexual orientation is determined by genes.

Is that true? Because everyone in my family is straight and I'm bi.
