How can you know for certain that everyone is 100% straight?
I always wondered that about people in my family.
But yet again, I'm not like most people in my family.

I don't know, I don't believe it has anything to do with the genes. There are many theories about it, I don't think it really matters why we love what we love. Love itself is a miracle. Whether it hides in our genes or social influences is rather irrelevant to me.

You're right, I guess I just assumed. My Gran was married, my Aunt is married, my cousin has a boyfriend, my parents are married and my brother has a girlfriend.

...That's about all my family. Shifty XD

Yeah, but don't you ever wonder what your parents did in college?
Maybe they weren't all so nice and straight.
XD
Well at least I do.

Experimentation doesn't necessarily mean you aren't straight though.
I personally hate it when anyone's like "I made out with a girl so I must be bi."

So what does qualify you to be bisexual or homosexual?
I mean, where is the line to say "You're just experimenting" and "You're really gay".

People like that annoy me. They just assume too much.
But what if from the experimentation, they know they are not straight?

I'm fine with homosexuality.
One of my best friends is gay, and I love him to death.
He was my prom date, for goodness.
It doesn't change people.

To be heterosexual, you must be romantically and sexually attracted to members of the opposite sex.
To be bisexual, you must be romantically and sexually attracted to members of both sexes.
To be homosexual, you must be romantically and sexually attracted to members of the same sex.

I hate it when people say fucking someone of the same gender makes you bi/gay. It's about more than sex. If you can't see yourself in a relationship with a woman and you are one, you are probably straight.

There are always gray areas. I'm a big, fat gray area.

That's the thing right?
Most people still are gray areas.
People say that when you fuck a girl, you'll know you're a lesbian.
That's a quick and false assumption.
I don't like it when people think its just a physical thing to be homo/bisexual.
So yeah, I agree with you.

It's a sad thing how conservatie people are to homosexuality or bisexuality.
The world is evolutionising and yet, we're still having the same mentality.

but what else can you expect people to be other than conservative about such a topic when government even to this day is still so strongly based on religious views.

It sickens me that government officials go against gay marriage but at the same time they have their own gay affair and praying that no-one finds out.

I believe if you are gay you should be proud but even to this day people are tortured, put down and made fun of for being gay. If being "gay" wasn't natural and against "god's will" I highly doubt there would be this many homosexuals in this world

And the government are a body of people who are conservative.
And hypocritical.

I agree with people having to stand up for themselves. It's not right to be made fun of for something you are. My school gave a talk on sexuality and they said stuff like how its wrong to be a homosexual.
I was horrified at the extent they will go to just to make sure we're all "normal".

I don't care if someone is gay, bi or straight.
As long as they are nice people because they are, in the end, the same as everyone else.

My school thankfully is not like that
We have quiet a few homosexuals and what my school does is makes sure that the kids know as much as they can about being homosexuals. We have a special club and all.

Though I am not Homosexual or Bi, I am really glad that they don't push you being straight on the people

Everyone is human, no matter what their sexual preference is. We're all the same people. Who we love should be our decision and no one else's. People really need to learn how to mind their own business.

There's nothing wrong with being gay or bisexual or straight. It's just who you are.
I think it's high time people get that through their heads.

I agree. Everyone has their preference, and it's not like they can help it.

What about if a person is sexually attracted the the same sex, but when it comes to a relationship, they prefer the other sex? Will that make them bi? Or still straight?

Personally, I say bi-curious.
They only want sex. They're not romantically attracted.
To me, you must have both.
That's also what the site I found in high school said about coming out.
If it's just sex, you're not gay/bi/whatever.

I don't think you can really make a strict definition of how to define your sexualtiy; everyone is different.

I said there were gray areas. I know there are gray areas. I am a gray area.

It's just that, wanting to a kiss a girl doesn't make you a bisexual. Wanting to fuck a girl doesn't make you a bisexual. It's more than being horny.

You know, I don't understand why some people put so much stock into a person's sexuality. Your sexuality does not define you. Your choices, values, behaviours, etc define you.

It is not fair, in my opinion, to deprive anyone of having children if they so wish. To a child, what is the difference between growing up in a loving home with a straight couple as opposed to a gay couple? I see no problem with that as long as the child is well taken care of and loved.

So what if the kid becomes more open-minded on the subject of sexuality? Wouldn't you say that's a good thing?

And actually, I believe that somewhere in the bible it says that homosexuality itself is not considered sinful, but the act of homosexuality is.

Can you find us the verse?

I've only ever found a verse that says that you can't have sex with the same gender.
