Meg Cabot books, aren't really discriptive, they're more of the sarcastic, funny books that girls like.
Favourite book of hers for me has got to be the 1800-where-are-you series. I liked Jess's temper Smile

I like Meg Cabot, although I didn't like the Princess Diaries series.
I did enjoy the rest of her stories though, like Avalon High or All-American Girl. =]

Likewise. I loved the Mediator Series and I heard that they are making a movie out of it. I can't wait to see it if they actually do it.

her first books that she wrote under the name jenny carrol are the best. i think her character in the princess diary books changes alot and it gets hard to follow, but her mediatior series are by far the best- although incredibly similar to the buffy TV show.

I really liked All-American Girl and its sequel! I've also read Princess Diaries, but I don't really enjoy those as much. I wanna read some of her other books...*pouts*

I love Meg Cabot, especially the Mediator series, though I'm having a bit of trouble with it, because I bought number five, Haunted, without realising that it was part of a series, and London Public Libraries are stupid and don't carry the first one in the series anywhere but downtown, from which I live about half-an-hour. Longer by city bus.
I also really love the 1-800-WHERE-R-U series. What did you think of book number five?

^^ Say what? I like her Mediator Series (don't like princess diaries, but the movie was okay). I know she said that emo and goth were the same thing, and I was really offended by that statement, but I had no idea she dissed mcr. Seriously, what the fucking hell?!

The Haunted.

That book has to be here best book. She makes confusing but not to the point whre it is no able to be understood. It is a twister, and a mystery. She adds in the characters with enbough description that isn't overly specific just enough for each person to form their own idea of what the character looks like.

I love that quality in her books, Sarah Dessen also follows the same suit.
Both woman are fantastic writers.

Cabot is more scarcastic and focused on younger readers, where about Dessen is focused on older readers.

However, I was disssapointed in the sequal to All American Girl. Ready or Not it displayed too much insurcity on Samantha's part, she was so whine-y. It was annoying. I was disappointed she did have sex in the end.

I LOVED the Mediator series. All-American Girl was alright, but not as good. She's an amazing author. And I don't really mind tha she dissed MCR, alot of people do.

I used to love The Princess Diares. The bit with MCR made me laugh. But, the plotline got really boring. I like a lot of her other stuff though.

When she dissed MCR, it was most likely a joke. And she called them emo, which is why so many people got pissed off.

It said something like, Boris was whining about his hate for emo music, especially My Chemical Romance. XD
