Thought for such a thick book, SM has moved quiet fast along with Bella's pregnancy, finding the thing to nourish her and her baby, it all just happened all of a sudden, though I really, really, enjoyed the part where Bella found out she was up the duff. |

Having said that, I feel safe enough to voice my opinion that Bella's point of view was really quite boring after Jacob's. Jacob's sometimes cynical view on his life and the role he plays in the lives of those he loves is refreshing and adds a sense of humor to even the most serious of instances. Without Bella's annoying need to reiterate Edward's beauty to us (okay, he's gorgous - we get it) every other paragraph, I felt that as the reader I got more of a grasp on what was going on. I will say, however, that Bella's point of view was much better after the change. She seemed to have more of an actual opinion on things, not just Edward and what Edward must be thinking. All in all - I liked the book. It started out slow, and felt like it dragged through the wedding and honeymoon, but picked up later after the "little nudger" is introduced. Meyer really wrapped up all the loose ends perfectly as well. I loved the bit about Garret and Kate. That was awesome. So any way. I liked it, I didn't love it and I probably would not spend my money on it (I waited and got it at the library) but it was a fun read. |

| Tom Fletcher. Cliché Catastrophe Age: 23 Gender: Male Posts: 653 | I read the book on holiday. I have to say that it didn't disappoint, but it was just so different from the other books. I liked the honeymoon part, and I found the bit where Edward ripped the pillow and took chunks out of the bed very... um... ![]() I loved Jacob's point of view. It was really interesting to see how he felt towards Bella, Edward and the other 'bloodsuckers' from his own mind and not just what he says to Bella. I also thought it worked well, having alot of focus on the wolves. If it was Bella's POV all the way through it would most likely have been vampire vampire vampire, and the wolf thing broke it up a bit. I also found it adorable that Jacob imprinted on Renesmee - I mean, it had to happen, didn't it? It was cool that it was connected to Bella somehow - and I found her reaction hilarious. What I didn't really like was her name - it sounded a bit too made up for me, which is why I liked how most of them called her Nessie. I was disappoined with the ending though. I wanted a fight! Even with the tension, I felt it was just too placid. For all those chapters talking about J. Jenks and Alice and the Volturi I expected a bigger confontation, with perhaps Jake and Nessie having to run for cover and at least a Cullen and a wolf being killed - and then I was let down. The ending was a bit sugary, but I suppose that was to be expected. I'm glad I didn't spend too much money on it and Twiight is still my favourite of the series, but for a holiday read it was good and I did enjoy it, despite my feelings about some aspects. |

My friend and cousin were both disapointed with the end, but personally I thought it couldn't have been better. I love Renesmee, her name is beautiful. And Nessie is cute for short, even with the loch-ness monster reminder ![]() |
| sprawledout Writer's Block Age: 14 Gender: Female Posts: 20 | I finished my copy of Breaking Dawn a few weeks back, and yeah, it was really nice. Edward and Bella had a daughter, a half-human, half-vampire daughter(I know this is somehow impossible to all of us, but read the book to understand, I can't explain it here.), called Renesmee, and yeah, it made Bella and Edward so much closer together. Jacob imprinted on Renesmee, and they had a happy ending. Breaking Dawn was beautifully written, as the other books, and yeah, it wrapped up Bella's life in such an amazing episode. (God, did you read the last two pages?) But of course, for me, Twilight'll still be my favourite. |

| CircleDot Writer's Block Age: - Gender: Female Posts: 38 | fornication.: What, so you can't be an extreme gentleman, like to read, and not find the right girl without being gay? Stereotypical much. I think the gentleman thing and the liking to read are two good qualities, and doesn't mean you have to be gay to have them. |

| ana PANICS Writer's Block Age: - Gender: Female Posts: 21 | I read it already but before I read it I thought that something bad was going to happen such as an important character dies. Or she might not be changed or end up with Edward, but I was very happy with the ending actually. |
