I've played the cello now for four years now. I used to play the violin but I hated the way it sounded. Cello's have such a better sound in my eyes.

It amazes me that i have a life. lol but i honestly wouldnt give it up for the world its my escape rout when somethings wrong. It has such a beautiful sound too it.

Apocalyptica are awsome, plus there are great classical melodies for cello.
only one problem with it, they are a pain to get around!
has anyone else named their cello, coz mines called Spike (buffy the vampire slayer) and everyone thinks I'm crazyQ |

I think I started the violin at maybe nine but the cello was my first pick. Unfortunatly I was really short back then and they didn't have a school cello small enough for me to play so I got stuck with the violin.
Even though I had people helping learn the violin, I wasn't good. Oddly enough I self taught myself the cello and I'm in the highest orchestra at my school. |
