Like what model, etc...what model you want.
any questions, etc!
I've got an Ibanez GSR 200, it's an awesome purple-ish blue color!
Sometimes it looks purple, and then in other forms of light, it's blue! |

Mine is black. And I don't know what model, cos its not like, Gibson or anything. It was a beginner kit one, with all of the crap you need, like amp, strap, case, etc.
Yours sounds cooler, though! |

Age: 19 Gender: Female Posts: 5165 | March 11th, 2008 at 03:10am I play bass. Well, attempt to play anyways. I don't play every day though. It's just a little hobby thing.
My sister and I share an acoustic bass. His name is Fat Bob. It's just some cheap crappy one though.
My parents bought my sister an electric bass though because she's really into it and her friends play guitar. So they all practice together.
My Dad plays bass too. He's been playing since he was like..17 or something like that. So he has 5 bass guitars and a double bass. He can play both 'cause he's cool like that. |

I play bass. ^___^ Or at least I like to think I can. lol.
It's a black Ashton electric. Not really the greatest out there I suppose.
But I love it lots and lots so it doesn't matter.
I love playing jazz on it, and anything written by Mike Dirnt (self explanitory) or Matt Freeman (Operation Ivy & Rancid).
At the moment I'm trying to learn the bass solo in Maxwell Murder by Rancid but it's so fast. o____o
And in the Green Day version of Knolwedge, the bassline is really fun to play and fairly easy once you get the hang of it.

My friends brother who's in a band and plays bass said that it wasn't worth the money. I wanted it at first, but, he's been playing bass for a while so I trusted his judgement.
How's it play? |

I have a Samick short scale (Blackmailed my parent last year) and it's black (shiney) with a white pickgaurd. I want a flat-black,no shine.
I need a new one with a longer scale but My parents dont really like rock so good luck...
Bass is the ultimate instrument...it locks with the drums and makes a groove backing for the band to play on...rythym, that chocolate-thick thump...bass rocks in every way,and if you dont believe me,listen to Paul Thomas (GC).
On his myspace (he has two) is some of his own stuff and it's awesome.
If you still dont believe me, how about Mikey Way or David Desrosiers or Jeph Howard....
I do need new strings, though. People tell me to start out fingerstyle so I'm gonna get Nylon Tapewounds, cuz they dont twang when you wanna play slap and they sound so rich and smooth with pick or fingers...
LaBellas are my dream strings but I cant afford them |
