I like country sometimes. I go into 'Country Phases' as my friend calls it. I don't know. I pretty much only listen to it when I get depressed. Only because I am weird like that.

But, I love Taylor Swift, Rascal Flatts, Kenny Chesney, Billy Ray Cyrus, Carrie Underwood, and that's about it. I like SOME songs by other singers too.

I just thought I would take a moment to get really super squealy excited that this thread exists because country is so friggen amazing, but sometimes its scary to admit it out of fear of public mockery.

The Wreckers are incredible. I walk around singing Crazy People all the time, and I think Leave The Pieces is brilliant.

And yes, Dixie Chicks are FTW. Period.

I grew up on country and I used to listen to nothing but country. I'll always like it, but it's not my favorite genre anymore.

My favorite artists, though, would have to be Toby Keith and Tim McGraw.

I like old Kenny Chesney. For some reason when I started listening to other music, I can't listen to the newer stuff by him.

You know I would have to agree with you on that...
I like more of Kenny Chesney's old stuff then the new... It just happens to appeal to me more. Coffee

I don't see why some people hate it so much.
It's not my favourite genre of music but some of it's okay and I'll listen to it

I like Taylor Swift's "Shoud've Said No". I can't help but sing along everytime I hear it.

When my family and I use to go camping, the only thing we could pick up was the local country station. And now I wake up to it every morning on the radio.

When I went camping, my family listened to cds. So it was a lot of country and the Beach Boys.

I like a lot of the older country music.
I'm not really a big fan of the newer kind.

Actually I loathe country music.
I like the meanings behind many of the songs and some of them are actually really funny.
But I just can't stand how it can make a twenty year old man sound like he's 76.
And my family loves country music so it just has to be played on every car trip. Which sucks since one of my headphones on my iPod is broken. So half of my brain hears my music and the other half is turned to mush.

EEP!! I'm so glad there are others like me!! I don't know anyone who likes country where I live. A couple of my friends say it's okay and one of them actually prefer it to rap, but everyone else says, "I like pretty much everything. Except country." Those are the exact words of a I know. It makes my boil when people say stuff like that... I wrote a persuasive essay on the thought that people should be more open-minded when listening to music.

I kinda agree, I mean, I'm no Jessica Simpson fan, but I have to admit, "Come on Over" is pretty country. I actually like it. See, I have this habit of disliking singers/acters yet loving they're work.

I love Faith Hill, and singers like Taylor Swift. There's this song done by her called, "The Outside" and I swear, it's really good.

I tell people I love country all the time and they're like "...ew".

I dunno, there's something extremely awesome about that genre. People really give it a lot of crap. And they don't seem to understand that it's possible to like Grunge and Country at the same time.
