Because my cat isnt around anymore, he was put down a couple of weeks ago, the neighbour hood cats are like stalking my rabbit everytime we let him out. And, also, since my cat passed away. Cozmo won't come in the house. And we don't want him to get hurt. So my mum wants to send him to a Rabbit Rescue centre |

Sadly they died last year, because they both got bitten by a rat and caught a disease.

I used to have one who was pretty much my bestest friend, and she slept in her own little bed on my own bed.
They do sleep. |

He's mega cute though That breed does tend to be mean.
I wouldn't put another rabbit in with him.

Age: 24 Gender: Female Posts: 1368 | June 17th, 2008 at 09:27am I've had a fair amount of bunnies, first one was called Snowball (no idea of the breed) he was lovely, cute and cuddly and would eat Sugarpuff's from your hand. The next one was called Treacle who was a Netherland Dwarf, she was an evil bunny. She hated everyone if a bird flew into her run she go and attack it. She lived until she was 13 though.
Then there was Snitch and Snatch.... They were born in the wild, but since they were still babies we were given them (two kids and a dog vs a mother rabbit, you can see who is going to win here. Kids are evil), Snitch loved people, always up at the cage door if it heard anyone... Which is why a fox got it. Snatch was a lot more wery of people, but it went to same way too.
Finally you have Bijou another Netherland Dwarf who wasn't as bad as Treacle, but she was a grumpy bunny. Also liked to nibble on people.... She passed away too. Though she was the first house rabbit that we had. |

Age: 14 Gender: Female Posts: 2 | June 30th, 2008 at 06:41am I bought two bunnies from the Amish about 6.5 - 7 years ago. My bunny (the one I got, named, liked, and played with) died a few weeks ago. It was really unexpected. It was hot outside and she was acting right. She wasn't pooping and she wasn't eating, which was a heads up. My rabbit (her name was Cocoa) loved eating and was nice and fat. Anyone know what happened?
And now my other bunny (she's mine because my sister couldn't take her to college with her) is okay. The squirrels keep getting in her cage and eating her food. She doesn't mind. I think she likes the company, even if it is a squirrel. |
