Statistically, a lot of women are bisexual.
I would wait a few years before telling your parents you are bi.
I'm 16 and still haven't come out to my dad... |

Age: 14 Gender: Female Posts: 375 | May 10th, 2008 at 08:02pm I came out to my mom this past February after 4years of knowing I was bi. You can do what I did.
I called my mom while my sister and her were out shopping and told her that when she gets home I seriously need to talk to her. When she got home she was scared because I don't really tell her I need to talk to her. My sister was in the room when she said whats wrong. I told her to send my sister to her room because it was to personal . My mom got even more scared and well after 15minues of me beating around the bush I and her becoming insanely paranoid I said, "Mom, I'm Bi."
She was cool with it and now she jokes around with me about being bi.
Or you could do this thing my friend did. She wrote her parents a letter and put i in the mail sending it to her house and well they found out that way.
Hope I was of some help to you. If you wanna talk feel free to pm or leave a comment.
Best of Luck

Bisexuality is a confusing thing.
Usually by the time people hit adulthood they either decide they are straight or gay.
That's why there are far more bi teenagers than there are adults.
I would wait for a few years before telling your parents,
because you may find you change your mind.

Yes. Gender confusion is somehow a phase in most teenagers.
I'd say wait until you are 16, like what Micheal said.
You're still young and a bit confused.
Just wait and you'll find out what you are.
BUT...
If you're really sure that you're bi.
Then, go ahead and tell your parents.
Make sure they're calm and respect you while you talk.

Wait a few years, because right now they'll think you're curious.
I just don't want you to go through what I went. I was twelve at the time, I had found out I was 'bisexual' and such, and I told my mom. And she didn't believe me.
Now that I'm nineteen, I'm a fully fledged lesbian.
....
Yeaaah.
Good luck.

This.
Heck, I've known I like girls since I was younger than you, but I didn't tell my mom about it until this past Halloween. I still haven't told my father. And my age over there is correct; I'm twenty years old. You're young. Give it time, figure things out, make sure of things. That could take a while.
Scars., I went through the exact same thing. I assumed I was bi for the longest time, before figuring out I didn't like men at all. I tried to make myself like men for the longest time, too, but it just didn't work.
It was interesting, coming out to my mom, though. I was upset and nervous, when I sat her down for it. She was so afraid I was about to tell her I was pregnant, when I told her that I liked girls she was so relieved she didn't even care about the gay thing. XD |

Age: 15 Gender: Female Posts: 4227 | May 12th, 2008 at 09:46am I'm thinking that by kissing two people in one night, a boy and a girl how do you know that you're bi? When you were 11?
I think that you are still young and that you should just forget about it for a few years, at least don't tell your parents. |

This too.
It did strike me as odd, that you decided you were bi after kissing a girl once. And the girlfriend you have now doesn't even live anywhere by you; there's an emotional connection, but not a physical one. Britney Spears and Madonna kissed once, on stage, and they seemed to enjoy it. Does that mean they're bi? No, not really.
Wait until you're older before comitting yourself to this. You'll be glad you waited, I promise you that. |

I did think it was pretty odd that you could just decide in one night. |

It was the first that came to mind, for some reason.
Yeah, and to the original poster...are you sure you just don't like kissing? That might not have had anything to do with one of them being a girl... |

 Age: 17 Gender: Female Posts: 17627 | May 12th, 2008 at 01:16pm I agree with everyone else.
Just leave it for a bit, I mean it's not like you are that close with your parents (from what you said) so they can wait.
I have been with my current gf for almost 11 months and haven't told my parents. |

Age: 16 Gender: Female Posts: 6111 | May 12th, 2008 at 05:12pm I told my mom a couple months back that I'm bi
I forget how, I just remember crying and telling her
At first she was all ~understanding
But now she gets mad whenever I wanna hang out with my gay friends
I regret telling her
My sister on the other hand, we've been telling each other more lately
But when I told her she said ew and didn't think I was serious
So I just told her I was just messing around
And I just left it at that |
