My friends and I went skiing in Canada, and we were going along a really narrow path on a slope, and one of my skiis sliped and went over the edge. My friend grabbed me and pulled me back up -if she hadn't, I would have fallen and most likely died.. Wow, I love that girl

Writer's Block Age: 14 Gender: Female Posts: 13	August 14th, 2008 at 07:56pm i always almost get hit by cars every day. it's become a bit of a joke to me. & numerous times, i've come close to drowning in large bodies of water. another time i drank too much benadryl[my doctor told me to take that instead of sleeping pills, but it wasn't working and i drank too much] but then my mom made me throw it up. & once, in broad daylight, this kid came up to me with a knife and tried to steal my bag.[i was waiting to take the bus home from school & so was he.] all i said to him was, 'Are you sure you want to do that? My father happens to be a cop, dumbass." he ran like hell. thank god for my father's occupation the kid was an idiot anyways, there were police cars all around. someone would have seen him one way or another.

Well this 15 yr old girl [they lived by a lake] and it was frozen over. Well she told me it was safe to walk on it. And I believed her. And so, I walked on it. It cracked. I fell in. And I was a skinny kid! I got out though =] Hospital trip # 4
DropTheDaggerRomeo Writer's Block Age: 16 Gender: Female Posts: 36	August 15th, 2008 at 07:54pm Hmm, well I choked on poppadum :L but it wasn't really funny, I couldn't breath for like three minutes and I was dribbling everywhere and was nearly sick. Then there was the time on holiday when I was about twelve. There was this rock that started on the beach and went out about ten meters into the sea. My two older brothers were running along it then jumping off the end so me, wanting to be all big and grown up, thought I'd copy them. I was a little bit sensible and I jumped off the side, not the end but it's still not a really clever thing to do when you can't swim. Anyway, I thought that because it was only like ten meters out that I would easily touch the bottom but I was so wrong... Actually it was more like my head didn't touch the top. Any way, the first brother jumped off the end at the same time as me and when he swam round he didn't realize that I was like drowning and he just KICKED me!! Then my other brother jumped off a moment later and when he swam by I kinda grabbed onto him... So now I'm terrified of deep water or large bodies of water ...

When I was 7 or 8 I had really bad breathing problems, like I had to have surgery to clear my airway after that, but I was always afraid of ghosts so I'd sleep with my covers over my face, and I could've suffocated myself. :\

We were in the deep end and it was the final test. Supposed to see if you could keep your head above the water for a minute. It's harder said than done, but this one girl next to me clawed at me and pushed me under. Oh, and the latest one was when my mom was driving my best friend home. It was dark and we were talking. Almost hit a deer, but missed it by a few inches. I found out when I got home that it would have totaled the car and my mom probably would have ran into the truck two lanes away.

The thing hit the side of door right beside the window (you know... on that two-inch peice) and crushed it in at least an inch. If they had thrown it a second sooner it would have went straight through the window and right into my head. Ugh. I was sooo ticked off (after I got over being scared that is, lol). And the cops never did catch whoever did it.

I was maybe eight or a little older, and I was riding my bike around my neighborhood, which is usually a nice little quiet place away from main roads that parents feel comfortable raising their children in. Except for today, that was. I was alone because none of my friends were home, but I didn't really care, so I just kept riding. Eventually, I noticed a big red truck as it pulled around a corner. I thought nothing of it and kept riding. I went down to a dead end, and it was still in back of me. That made me a little scared, but I figured I was just being paranoid and turned and started riding the other way. The truck kept following me. I was now freaked out, but just to be sure it was really following me, I went to the dead end again (I know, retarded. I should have rode home really fast instead of "making sure" and turned, and it still followed me. Now I was positive it was following me and I rode home at one of the fastest speed I ever accomplished on my bike. Once I got near my house, the truck sped up and drove away. Now because of that, I am terrified if I'm walking or at the bus stop or anything and a car goes by.

Looked two ways at the T-Junction rather than all three and stood out onto the road. Thank God the driver was paying attention. He stopped and told me to be more careful next time. He was nice about it but it still scared the crap outta me! Media Trip in London. Walking after the group and paying most attention to the newspaper in my hands. Trying to figure out that damn Sudoku. I swear I'm the only person in the world who doesn't find the 'easy' ones easy But yeah, needless to say stupid moped guy came up the road I was crossing without me noticing. He didn't even slow down But Kay Eff See dragged me back before I could walk any further into his path.

They did, and I'm not sure how this happened, but before I even got to drink it I bit into the glass (sounds retarded, I know) and a few little pieces ended up in my throat. I'm not sure that I was close to dying or anything, although a guy who was a doctor was there and managed to help me out. I barely remember it, haha. I'm glad I survived. What I remember most was after I finished spitting up blood and I was fine, I was drinking milk out of a plastic cup instead of a glass one again. XD

We were out on this boat, and I fell in and got dragged along behind it. Then when one of the crew was getting me free, they jammed my hand in the ladder. They thought I was going to lose my hand. But I was fine once all the swelling and bruising went down.

I don't think anyone got hurt worse than a bruise or two. And once I was walking down a major street, and I was at a 4-way stop that had a few cars at it, when I looked to the side and saw a car slowing down and pulling over. I thought it was a friend offering me a ride, so I peeked inside (as I was walking; I didn't actually go over and stick my head in), and I saw this creepy guy holding what looked like a gun and staring straight at me. I remember thinking "I'm gonna die" and then pulling out my cell phone and keys and running all the way home shaking. For a while after that, I was scared of red pick up trucks (the car the guy was in), and I always pretended to be talking to someone on the phone when I was walking alone. But to this day, I don't know if it was really a gun. It kind of looked like a big cell phone too.

nico; narcotic Amateur Author Age: 15 Gender: Female Posts: 132	August 31st, 2008 at 09:08pm Last night I almost managed to get hit by a car four times in the space of fifteen minutes, they just kept appearing out of no where When I was about nine, me and my friend managed to get lost in the sea and kept falling under the waves resulting in almost drowning several times untill her mum came out find us.
