I always pictured Hitler as escaping, when I heard it was plausible he faked it, and running away to some Hawaiian beach where no one would disturb him. The only thing that could link him back to his old self was the weird tan line on his upper lip...

But then I heard some country took his scalp and it's now on display in a museum somewhere? I'm not sure if that's true.

Nah. He's dead. I watched a whole history channel program about it. They found some evidence somewhere but I forget what it was...I think it was part of his teeth.

I have heard that they haven't found any proof that Hitler is dead.

How could you fake shooting yourself with soldiers at the door, and the soldiers breaking the door in to see your dead body?

Back then it wouldn't have been nearly as easy to look exactly like someone either for another person to act as if they were Hitler and shoot themself.

Basically the idea is that blonde hair and blue eyes are the most recessive features, so are hard to find. You'd have to have two people with blonde hair and blue eyes to have a child with blonde hair and blue eyes. So he thought they were the 'pure' race, because they didn't have features from any other type of person. They weren't like a mix or anything.

I think it was his Dad's mum who was Jewish, making him like a quarter Jewish yeah. Just 'cause he was brought up with the religion, doesn't mean he followed it. If anything, it was the opposite.

His grandmother was abusive to him...Or it was his Dad...Or something along those lines, and they were Jewish. Hence why he gained a hatred for them.

It's a shame that such a smart man had to turn insane. I mean, let's face it. He was pretty damn smart to be able to manipulate the whole system and basically the whole country in such a way that most were willingly committing mass genocide (to be fair a lot were forced). That's a power that only brains could bring you.

I had learnt about it in History in 4th year, but, my teacher wasn't exactly the best, and neither was my class.

Yea, it must take brains to have that many people do what you want to do.
And it is a shame.
But still, what he done was, in no doubt, horrible and sick.

Whenever I think about Hitler, I can only think about the ten-year-old twins that had the skin on their backs torn off then got sewn together because the scientist guy wanted to make simese(sp?) twins and how because they got terribly sick, their mother killed them with morphine to ease their pain and of all the babies that died by being tossed in the fire alive because they didn't believe that they should waste a bullet on them.

My Language Arts teacher(last year), had us read the Ann Frank play write then study about the Nazis in general. The stuff above was told to us by a special public speaker that knew lots about the Nazis and Hitler. There's a lot of other things that I can remember but when she mentioned those, I was on the verge of tears. (I have a soft spot for children and death. A HUGE soft spot).

I have also learned about hitler. My take on it is, the man was sane at first but then the tragedy of his mother's death kinda set him off. It didn't help much that he lived in the streets as a young man. Once there, he meet a man who told him all that bullshit about the jews being the blame 4 germany's loss in WWI. that was like the trigger that set off his hatred for the jews. after that was all the nazi's fault. they influenced him alot too. then the parkensiens's disease helped move that along.

i also heard that he had a chemical imbalence disease thingy.
well all in all, the man was the devil himself. how could anybody watch people being killed, knowing they started it.

i'm filled with disgust when I think of this horrible man.

i sinceraly hope that all the people he killed went to heaven and found peace.
