So I want to get a new computer.
The one I have now is a secondhand that I bought off my brother, but I want my own one that's actually new. I want a laptop.

So here's the question:

PC or Mac?

I'm leaning towards Mac. My auntie has one and she says they are really good, but my brother says they are crap.

I'm not sure.

What do you guys have?
Pros and cons of both?

EDIT: I'm going to be using it for the internet, School work and art. So all my graphic design things.

Mac all the way.
It looks so beautiful.
Cheese
I plan on killing my PC and stealing a Mac.
Seriously.
I've worked on Macs at this movie workshop thing, and they're amazing at handling media. -PC will break down in the middle of your editing session.- But since they're a bit expensive I don't think that you should buy one if you don't really need one [or you can really afford one].

I'm debating the same thing as you right now.

My family has a PC, which is what I type from, but I've kind of fallen in love with a Mac...

Mac, def.

I dunno why, but we've never had anything but Macs, and they're a lot better than the ones I use at school.

MACS!

I have a PC at home, but in my school we use Macs, and they're so much better... downside is there's no right-click, but I love them.

I say Macs. They're much more streamlined and pretty. Happy face

The only issue I have with Macs is that they are a part of Apple's iron fist with which they crush the rest of the market. tehe

But yeah. I find that PCs crash and break much more easily, and take forever to fix, while Macs rarely crash and they have very easily accessible tech support.

Macs are much better for designing and stuff but I find its also harder to use than a pc, it confuses me like hell.

I have a PC. I've never had a Mac but I've heard they are great for use in graphic design. I've also heard that PCs are better when it comes to office-oriented activities such as word processing.

I can't stand Macs or anything Apple whatsoever. I got an iPod for Christmas and all it has ever been is trouble, but that aside I hate using Macs because I don't like the way they work or anything. We used Macs a lot in primary school. They're just too... eh. Overrated in my opinion, and they focus so much on looking good but confuse the hell out of me, and the stupid icons in the menu type thingo bounce around and be all annoying.

Boring ol' PCs ftw. Mr. Green

Macs FTW.

I've a MacBook and it's the best thing ever. It's great for everything. Although I may be slightly biased but whatever. Though if you do get a PC, just get one with the old Windows, not Vista. Because Vista is honestly a piece of a memory-consuming crap. <_<;;

I personally don't like Macs.

We have to use them for uni work, and I hate the fact that they don't have a right click.
But that's probably just cause I'm not used to them.

Dude, not a Mac. You can't even right click on them. I had one for years, anf I hated it, and it's relaly confusing.
Are you kidding? Vista is awesome. It's prettier, easier, and not confusing at all!

I love PC's. We have a MAC upstairs (it's my step dads) and I just don't understand it at all. Sure, it looks good, but it confuses me. He always tells me it's better, but someone is yet to prove to me why.

I basically use mine for internet, school work and art too. I havn't found any problems with it at all. Vista's cool :]

PC all the way. Cute

Oh yeah, another reason for getting a Mac. A new PC would have Vista on it, and my dad's work computer has Vista, and he really hates it.

I love my iBook that the school gave me to use, but it's just so... gr. My PC is a lot more reliable than that, even if I now greatly dislike using the PC.

But I'm not so tight with this whole "Vista" thing, by the way it sounds. Thank god ours doesn't have it...

I'm pry gonna end up getting a Mac laptop someday. Especially if everything has Vista

Oh wow, Mac for sure.

PC has had the same system forever, and Vista is really unreliable; they're still getting the kinks out. Mac is really reliable, it's much cleaner and easier to work with, and it's just all together better. They are also really fast and are very, very simple. Even my grandparents can use them, and they don't know how a computer even functions. So yeah, Mac all the way.

Vista is shit.
