When I was laptop shopping the guy kept trying to sell me that new super thin apple one. But it didn't have a disk drive.
I was like "And how will I play Sims 2 on THAT?!" Hand

I have a Mac, and it pwns PCs. When you play around for a while, Macs are really a lot nicer. Especially for graphics work, Macs are the way to go.

You can even partition your hard drive if you want File

The only thing is applications for Mac are usually more expensive. But worth it. x]

Or else a Sony Vaio TZ, which is also pretty.

How do you get on with MSN on a Mac?
Also, can you use the built in camera as a webcam on MSN, or does it only work with the apple software?

^ There's a MSN program for Mac. It's very basic, but it does the job. No handwriting and stuff like that.

And I think the webcam works for video calling, but I've never tried. Shifty

I might be getting a laptop, and I would use it mainly for games (like the Sims), writing, and the Internet. Which one would be better?

Depends on how compatible the games are. If it's mostly games that won't work with a Mac, it'd be easier to get a laptop with Microsoft installed.

Otherwise, Macs are cool. But a bit pricier.

I love Macs.

All we have in our house is Macs and I always use my Macbook.
I hate PCs. The right click always confuses me.
I just think Macs are far more reliable and better looking.
And there's so much creative, fun software.

^ You can reconfigure the mouse buttons for a right click. It's just that Macs are automatically set so both sides are the primary buttons.

You can also just press Ctrl + Click to right click. After I figured that out it got sooo easy to use my Mac.

I like Macs. They're easy to use, easy to fix, and damn pretty. Happy face

Whatever you do, don't get an Acer laptop. It's been a piece of shit since the day I got it. It's hellbent on never, ever letting me able to spell check my work. Any spell check I've downloaded can't function. I have to use Mibba's, which is really easy to forget to do. Not to mention all the other things it's done to me.

Grr

But other than that, I can't really contribute because I've never tried Mac. It sounds pretty, but getting products for PCs seems a whole lot easier. That's just observation though.

^ You can partition the hard drive so you can choose whether to start on Windows or Leopard/Tiger.
