^^ That's good to hear! <3 I bet that must have hurt her at the time. Hug

Their one of my favorite breeds. :] I never really showed up until last summer. It's fun at least.

^ Arms Thanks, I'm aways worried she's going to hurt herself. She runs around her paddock like a nut. It's kind of funny sometimes, she gets so excited xD.

I like quarter horse and paints personally. But Tennessee Walkers are just so pretty In Love It is fun :] Except for certain shows, some are just completely bias and the judges pretty much know who is going to win before anyone does anything. One show I did for a few years was like that and I barely ever place. But when I started doing other shows I actually placed. It was exciting xD.

^ My aunt's horses are like spazzes. She has two paints that I love, but they are mean at times. That's brothers for you. xD

I love quater horses, their coats are beautiful. I used to place, but when they horse gets older, the judges hurry past me. Biased judges = crappy shows. It ruins the whole mood.

I think the cutest horse are the minatures. :] They're so... little and cute!

I have my dressage thingo this Sunday. It's 11pm on Friday so I can't quite say it's on tomorrow. >_>

But yeah. Cheese I've been practicing my sitting trot so hard, and I think it's improving... I'll probably end up making him trot really slow in the actual test, so it's not as hard on me. xD

^Good Luck! Sitting trots are hard. On Ace it's really easy because he's slow an comfy. But Flower is impossible to sit to. xD That's what I do when I have to show and do a sitting trot on a horse that's hard to sit to. It makes it so much easier.

Mini horses are way cute. But so evil. There was this one mini horse at a camp I went to, and it kicked anyone that would go in its stall. It was psycho. Most ponies are mean too, all the ponies I know bite or kick. Or are just absolutely crazy.

I once had a horse named Tuxedo, but I had to give him up because of finance.
I was really sad.

But I see Tux every so often, and he seems happy...

I know what you mean. Cheese Eddie's strides are just so long... I'm really glad that in my test I didn't have to sit to his extended trot. xD

The competition ended up going pretty well. Wow Well, I came 5th in my Novice 2.3 test (the one with sitting trot), which was alright... we got mainly 5s and 6s and a couple of 7s. >_<

In my Prelim 1.4 I got 4th, which I was very happy with. He did an awesome test - probably the best we've ever done. I got mainly 7s. Wow

I had really stiff competition - I'm in the 15 and under 17 age group, and by that age a lot of people have given up riding, and then most of the people that are still competing are really serious about it.

The people I were against all had really showy looking horses - but it's comforting to know that me and Eddie could easily woop all their asses in showjumping. xD

The hay prices here are insanely high. I don't know about the grain, though. I assume its gone up, too. The price for shavings is really high, too.

^Ahhh! You're so lucky! I want to go so bad, but I know there is no way could ><

Cute Good job at your show! I think I might do a show later this month, but I'm not sure. It would probably all flat classes, though. It will be Flower's first show. Should be pretty entertaining xD

Okay. I don’t own any but my grandparents do and they’re awesome. xD
I haven’t fallen off…yet. But I had a near-experience in vaulting one time…

We were having a vaulting lesson and I had to do an around-the-world in a trot on the horse – having a mental blank and can’t think of name – and I was quiet cocky coz I was and am quite good at around-the-world on a horse.
Turns out it’s a little harder when you don’t have reins to work with and just handles…Yeah so everyone was, apparently, waiting for me to fall off coz I was sliding off the side.

Also turns out I have quite a lot of upper body strength when it comes to not wanting to fall off and get trampled by a Clydesdale cross. lmfao
But I swear his hooves are the biggest ever!

I was bawling when they took him away, but he did kick the carrier and almost kicked a guy in the crotch.

It's good knowing he remembers and loves me though.

they're expensive yet I can't help but love them.

I've had so many pets, and Tux got along with them all...

When I moved to my current barn, we had to leave behind the horse I used to lease because my dad wouldn't let us have two horses. I never got to see him again, and I have no idea where he is. I still miss him, and it's been years :[

^ Aww Cry Hug That sucks big time!

Saying goodbye to horses is so hard... I had to sell my previous horse, Della, a 14.3hh mare, 'cause I was getting just too tall and heavy on her back, which was already weak as she was 20 years old.

I knew that for me to move on and achieve bigger things, I'd need a bigger horse with more talent for the things I loved, but Della was my first proper riding horse and taught me so much. She was a crazy chestnut mare, too, so I learnt about all kinds of methods to slow horses down. xD

Plus, she deserved retirement so badly - now she lives near Coffs Harbour, where it's warm, and has been reunited with an old friend. She's happy, and she definitely, definitely deserved it.

On a happier note - I COMPETED IN MY FIRST INTRO LEVEL EVENTING COMPETITION WITH EDDIE! And we finished!

It's the day after and I'm still high on adrenaline from cross country. xD I got some awesome photos, as the photographer guy was there, and I'll scan them later and post them up.

Our dressage test was pretty good for Eddie, but comparitively not so good. >_< We were coming third last on our dressage score.

Showjumping was good, only one refusal and a rail down. When Eddie hits a rail, it's pretty unusual... in some of the show jumping photos from the day he was clearing the jumps by about 70cm. Cheese I was very happy with his show jumping, considering how high some of the jumps were.

CROSS COUNTRY WAS AWESOME. There was one jump I was seriously freaking out about, but when we got there, he spooked at the gate next to it. Goddamnit. So I had to circle him three times - and only one counted as a refusal, as I must've gotten close enough to the jump for it to appear he was spooking at the jump. -_-

BUT ANYWAY. I was so proud of him. In Love We pretty much went clear cross country, and got 16 time penalties 'cause of the time I wasted while circling in front of that jump. That's the first time ever we've been overtime on cross country, which is good in a way, 'cause he always goes wayyy too fast. XD

^ Mr. Green That's so great about your show :] I would be super excited, too xD. Cross country is super fun :]. Ahh, dressage is so hard ><. I always go in knowing the test, and then totally forget it the second I start. :] That's good for show jumping. How tall were the jumps?

Aw, that sucks about your horse Cry I got Ace when I was in fourth grade, and learned how to do a lot on him. But he's a beginner horse, and is getting old. He's at least 20. So I got Flower :]. She's still kind of green and a challenge. So it's fun :]. My mom rides Ace now, she mostly trail rides him. I wouldn't let her get rid of him xD. I think were going to lease him out to one of my friends, too. But I'm not sure. When he can't be ridden anymore, we already know what retirement place he's going to stay at. It's looks nice and has huge pastures. It's close enough for us to visit often, too.Cute

The jumps went up to about 85-90cm - and converted into the imperial system that would probably be... up to 3 feet. Not too high, but sheesh, he jumped them big enough. -_- tehe

That sounds awesome about the retirement place - what a good environment for him to live the rest of his relaxing days in. And best of all, how it's close so you can visit him. It's cool how you get to keep him now, though! If only we could have kept Della... even though she's living in a happier place now. xD

My other horse, Dante, who I bought myself when I was 11, is just sitting in the paddock doing nothing. He's 25 this year, I think. Cheese He was too crazy to ride and we thought he was ten when I bought him, so that's how I ended up with Della.

Dante I think enjoys being a companion horse though... he doesn't have to do anything at all except keep me and my sister's horses company. tehe

That's tall Cheese I jump pathetic jumps compared to that xD Flower enjoys jumping things like the mounting block or other obstacles, just not jumps XD

My mom found it, and it makes me feel so much better knowing about it and everything. There's this other place I know of, but it's in Florida. Which is about a day's drive away. So he's definitely not going there xD.
xD At least he enjoys being a companion horse an isn't like, going crazy xD and you got to keep him, that's good Cute . Cutter is a horse at my barn, and she's not that old, but she can't be ridden because she has back problems. She bosses all the other mares around and is extremely adorable :]
