I bought some time ago an AE hoodie [ does this brand count? I hope it does }. Its color was beige, and I love it. It's pretty fitted, yeah, but that's what made it more cute and attractive. I don't get why people hate these brands; their price is pretty much as good as the quality of their clothes.

The brands won't sell their clothes for a "WHOA. Expensive" price if the quality's not worth it. The product/clothes are most probably expensive because of these factors: quality, the designer [ if s/he is good or not, famous or not }, packaging, materials used, and so on.

Exactly! The clothes I have from Hollister last forever. I have tank tops and hoodies I've had since I was 13 and they're in great shape.

^ Yeah.
You can tell me that you hate 'em when you bought one and their quality downright sucks and your shirt doesn't last more than a month. Cute

I think it'd be good if you don't just confine yourself with clothes and fashion, as much as possible. Try buying stuff from AE, Hot Topic, etc. You'll be wiser when it comes to clothes, and you can safely say that so-and-so is a better brand than so-and-so.

I personally can't stand American Eagle. Don't ask me why, I don't know why. I just can't.

I've never shopped in Hollister or Abercrombie & Fitch. From what I've read about pairs of pants costing $80 a pop...I don't think I ever really would be able to, if I liked the style. I never have that much money, especially not for one pair of pants. And I've heard about the smaller sizes and tight-fitting clothes, and I don't think I'd be comfortable wearing clothes that stick to me. But, most of all, I just really don't like the style of clothing there. It's just not my thing.

I do shop at Hot Topic, though. I like the style of a lot of things in there. I like band tees of my favorite bands. And the Tripp pants are very, very comfortable. As far as prices, they are expensive, and I don't always buy stuff when I go; sometimes I just look around.

I must admit though, Hot Topic cashiers scare me. They're really gothic or scene. Most are gothic and look like they have no life at all.

Those ones are jackasses. They try to be so scary since they're not cool. I asked them if they had a shirt I say online and they just gave me a disgusted look. So, I went in there a week later with liberty spiked hair (this is when I have it down to my shoulders), leather pants and a corset and started complaining that the store sucked. I scared the guy that gave me a mean look.
Serves him right.
Guess he's never seen someone with spiked hair that long. File
He was all gothic and "I hate the world but I'm not going to do anything about it." Never smiled.

I haven't seen him since. I walk past the store in the mall, and now nicer-looking people are in there. They smile. You gotta smile or some people won't go in...took them long enough to realize that in my mall.

Wow. I don't think I've ever seen anyone working in the Hot Topic near me act or look like that. They smile a lot, are great at helping people, strike up conversations with customers, and are very nice in general. They really make people feel welcome, and not just the people that look like they should shop there, if you know what I mean. Anyone who goes in there are greeted and treated nicely, and helped. I really love them.

Which reminds me of the workers at Spencer's...I don't really like them all that much. Most of the time, especially when I walk in with bags from other stores, mostly Hot Topic, they criticize HT and say I should've come to them first. And sometimes they're rude. Plus, the last time I went to Spencer's, one of the guys working there stood near the checkout desk with his arms crossed, no smile, watching us as we looked around. When I checked out, he was slow to move and looked like he'd rather be somewhere else.

I think that clothing from Hollister and Abecrombie & Fitch can be really cute. I love how Hollister has the shirts in bright, gorgeous colors.

It's the stores themselves that I can't stand. I went into A&F one time with someone, and it was all dark, the techno music was ridiculously loud, and some obnoxious idiots had sprayed perfume everywhere, so it reeked. I got the hugest headache, and I eventually was just like "Yeah, I'm waiting for you outside." >.< Hollister I've never been into. It looks like a nightclub x]

I agree some of their clothes are pretty cute. But the fact the shirts are really long annoys me. I've been inside Hollister once, and I swear it was so dark. My sisters and I joke around saying it's so dark because no-one wants them to read the price tag. The stuff is pretty expensive, but nice.

Dude, same here! I have a short torso, and I've noticed that a lot of shirts (not just Hollister) are made for a really long torso. Grr

^ That's because that's the style, not only in those mall stores, but in every store. Target even has shirts that are really long. Same with Walmart and JC Penny. Even Hot Topic has long shirts.

I don't understand why everyone hates Abercrombie & Fitch, Hollister, AE, etc.
Yeah, it's pretty expensive. But the clothes are really cute.
They could do without plastering the logo across every shirt and jacket though.

Hollister jackets are very comfy, and I got one on sale in like..January Cute
And I have a pair of Abercrombie & Fitch jeans for $20 in like...the end of fifth grade, and they still fit Wow they're comfortable as hell.

I actually wear hollister jeans.
I have these really big hip bones, and I wear NOTHING that goes over them. And I just love hollister low rise short size one. Because it fits me perfectly. Smile
And I like hollister's jacket.
I got a big poofy faux fur jacket from there. It's uber cute and comfortable. The price was like $100 but it lasted a long time. Plus, it still looks new! Mr. Green

I don't like their clothes, personally.

I think people dislike them more due to the fact that they are "mainstream" and you can see many people wearing it.

I personally wear there clothing while mixing it with the clothing I have from hot topic.
There's nothing wrong wiht that.
Hollister A&F and AE having very good quality clothing that lasts a long time
If you like your shit ripping often by all means go shop in the stores that make poor quality clothing, as long as it lasts from... I don't care what store it's from I'll wear it.

Plus the stuff in there most of the time is really nice. Especially there jeans/Shorts

Ugh, some many people are obsessed with those stores.
That's all you see, it's so annoying.
Compared to celebrites, it makes them look cheap to have that logo on them.

I'm more of a Hot Topic person. i used to love H&M, but they went to the brightside.

Jeans and a T-shirt are the best things ever.

Why is what someone else chooses to wear annoying? Shifty I don't see how a personal choice like that affects you at all.

Yea I went to Abercombie (sp? o_O) cause my sister wanted to go there (she's a major prep) It kinda creeped me out, first time in there, I went in with all black clothing on.....not a good idea.....I stood out like no other haha. But seriously I dont like the clothes....why do people want labels on there clothes anyway?

I got my sister back though by dragging her into Hot Topic ; ]
