I can understand that actually. Usually tattoos are just on people's arms on legs when they're visible while piercings are really obvious especially since they're often on the face.
I wouldn't care though. Tattoo's are beautiful when done well.
And I think sleeves are hot |

As clichéd as it is I would love to have a star on my wrist somewhere. The problem is that tons of people have that. But I love stars. Then I'd have some words somewhere that relate to the stars.
The problem is my parents would never let me get a tattoo so I have to wait 3 years and one month till I can get one legally ... I don't want to get one while I'm under age cause if the dude fucks it up it's entirely my fault. |

Fair enough, but what makes them unattractive?
And on a similar note, I think it is appalling the amount of people who pass judgment on people with mods and clearly let them know it. I mean fair enough to have your own opinion, that's healthy, but why throw it into someones face when you don't know them? |

There is only one difference between tattooed people and non-tattooed people; tattooed people don't care if you don't have a tattoo. |

Age: 69 Gender: Female Posts: 551 | August 25th, 2008 at 09:39pm I used to love all tattoos, but now I think faded tatts just look really... trashy.
I love sleeves, but I'd never get them.
My tattoo ideas are;
1) ALIVE on the back of my neck, hidden by my hair.
2) The atom symbol (like this, but simpler) on my wrist. |

I'd alread have one if it wasn't illegal for anyone under the age of 18 to get tattooed in the state that I live it. It's considered "child abuse" to let someone under the age of 18 get a tattoo here.
I'm getting a tribute tattoo for my deceased grandmother as my first because it is something important to me and I promised myself that I wouldn't get any tattoos just to "get a tattoo".
My mom and one of my sisters already has the tattoo and I can't wait. Both of my parents and my sisters have tattoos so it's something very accepted in my family. |

aww I really want to get one when I'm older (well, we'll still see if I want one then or not...but oh well). My mum hates the idea though so I guess I could only get one when I've long left home.
The only thing I've planned so far is a heartagram tattoo somewhere...not sure where, though |

i want one with my father's death date and i can't decide between poohbear or a rose on my hip, because it's somewhere not a lot of people will be able to see, but i'll know i have it and if someone else sees it, i'll know that they mean a lot to me. |

I'm getting wings and my fathers dates on my wrist, as soon as I have the money.
I've put a lot of thought into it, and I figured, I might be just a kid, but it's something that's always going to be inportant to me, and if somewhere that might want to employ me when I'm older [My now-boss loves the idea.] can't deal with the fact that I wanted to remember him in a permanant and artistic way, then they can get screwed. |

I've always wanted one really, despite my father trying to freak me out about it on my birthday when I was talking about it. I don't care, I'll get one and I'll probably regret it but I don't mind. I regret things everyday, at least I know I'll pick a really epic one, so it's fine.
I want some wording on it, like a saying or a quote. It would be pretty cool... |

I want to get the lyrics "Scream until your heart stops," somewhere. I'm not sure where though, and I'm definitely waiting until i'm older. We'll see if I still want it done in two years, and if I still do, I'll get it done. |

Age: 15 Gender: Female Posts: 105 | August 27th, 2008 at 10:57pm I love tattoos. I'm just absolutely intrested with them. I want a few once I've been in college for a bit. I don't trust myself enough to run out and get one as soon as I turn 18. It'd be better for me to wait a bit
I have a few ideas that I've sketched out already. I really want a Dia de los Muertos themed sleeve (or maybe sleeves). It would almost be a skeletons on parade thing, with a full moon and a indigo midnight sky. I want lots of color put into it. I'm also thinking about putting some script into it (in spanish). I could go on and on about how I want it to be It's something thats really important to me... it actually has dual meaning but they're both long stories hahaha. I also have some lyrics that are important to me that I'd love to incorperate into a tattoo some how. |

Problem is, there's this REALLY old teacher at school who has one on her ankle. It looks so gross on her.
So I don't think I will. I don't want to have people laughing at me when I'm older because of something I did when I was younger and laughing at someone else for having one. |
