I'm not allowed over a 4 either. I don't mind though, it's a nice enough size.
And I agree, it's annoying when people say 'gauging your ears,' because you don't. That's just a term of measurement. The thing that you are physically doing is stretching... |

I know.
For people who have, it's called stretching. Gauges are the size of your earring that you have in. They go from 20, 18, 16, 14, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 0, 00 , 7/16, 1/2, 9/16, and up. |

It shouldn't hurt, there may be a slight pinching, but if you follow the sizes accordingly and don't skip big amounts, there should be no pain. And they feel just like normal earrings really no difference.
But when you do go to stretch them make sure you do it after a warm shower and use water based lube to help your tapers through. |

I love stretched ears. They look bloody awesome! But if you get them too stretched, they can just look gross >.< |

I find it quite annoying that when you get a new piercing, and then your someone you know wants it in the exact same place. It's just annoying. |

I was the only one at my school for a good six months that mentioned getting any facial piercing besides the side of the nose (other chicks already had it) and little more than two months after I got the left side of my lip pierced one other person got it done. Now three people have lip piercings.
Wonder how many will have eyebrow piercings. |

I know that I'm the only one with 2 bottom lip piercings.
I know a lot of people with nose studs and pierced belly buttons. I've only seen one person with a monroe. |

My friend wants to get the same helix piercing that I have though, which I find's annoying. People comment me on it quite a lot because it's in a different place to most helix piercings they've seen, and now she's going to have one too.

Age: 17 Gender: Female Posts: 1649 | August 3rd, 2008 at 09:52pm I took out my nose piercing because too many people were getting them, then lots of people that are coming into our sixth form have them and it just started to look common.
Which I hate.
I'm thinking of getting another facial piercing though, just not too sure what. And I'd have to convince my parents to let me get it or wait until I'm in uni. x___x |

I think that's called an anti-brow? |

I probably worry too much. That, and my mum wouldn't be happy. |

I want to stretch my lobes to 6 or 4, not sure yet. But I have no idea what to use or how to do it. Any links to a full direction would be greatful, too. |
