Ipod vs. Traditional CD player

Your darling iPod or that good CD player buddy of yours that has always been by your side? Lets look at each side. iPod Portable. Can hold thousands of songs. Easy charging. Games. Cool features. Expensive. Many problems. More appealing to a thief. Photos can be held on it. Easy song finding. CD Player Portable. Battery Powered. Cheap in most cases. Wider variety Cheap fixing if broken. Easily broken. Shouldn't be dropped. Can hold on one CD at a time. Which do you like better? What are some more pros and cons?

Because you just shove in the CD and there you go, whereas iPods you have to turn it on then select if you want videos and all that. I still have an MP3 player. That thing is my baby. I can't work iPods.

And still, some music isn't in iTunes, at least not some of the stuff I listen to... So at the moment my CD player is my thing.

In the car I love to listen to Cds, nostalgic feeling. At home I listen to the music on my computer and when I am out in town I am carrying along my mp3 player. In my case it depends on the stuff I am doing and where I am. But I looooove to buy Cds cuz of the covers. Downloading the songs or buying the album on Itunes is cheaper and more comfy but then a part is missing.

I like CD players, but I hate only being able to listen to one CD at a time. I enjoy listening to multiple artists at a time.

With a CD player, even though I'll use it sometimes, you have to get up and change CD's. Sometmes it's just a hassle at a party or something.

And with a CD player, you have to keep changing the CD's if you want to listen to something else. But truthfully, I don't have a CD player So I guess I can't fairly compare them.

Like for at home because when I'm sprawled in my room with all my CDs surrounding me, its some sort of I dunno, satisfaction in putting the CD in. I'm weird like that. But I use my MP4 player when I'm going out. It 's easier because there's a larger song variety without me having to bring a cupboard full of CDs.

It's convenient when you're traveling and such instead of lugging a whole CD collection with you. [I used to have an iPod, but it's hardware went, so I got a refund for it and bought my Zune.] But I'm a huge CD person. I'm always buying them, and the first thing I do is put them into my CD player...then they go to the computer. That's another reason why I like CD players. All you have to do is put the CD in and press play. No putting it on the computer, then syncing and such. I like both in the end, just for different reasons. I wouldn't want to get rid of my Zune, but there's no way I'd go without a CD player either.

But easy once you get to know them.
