X.Re-write_the_Sky Writer's Block Age: 15 Gender: Female Posts: 90	July 13th, 2008 at 08:11pm Everybody has their favorite Mibba author, and every mibba author has readers- but how on earth does sombody get readers in the first place? How do you make yourself known? How does a person, from being a reader, get to be a favorite author of somebody else? Anytips, avice, or thoughts on this any one?

How about just posting everywhere, that'd get people to notice you, make some friends and then ask them to check your stuff out. Or you could post on other stories give them some advice and usually they check your stuff out in return. Nobody's actually done that for me but one can hope

Like I've gotten some amazing reviews from there and some of them have also had concrit. I think what helps is you gotta get out there. Like talk to people on journals or chat or forums. Tell them to read your story then they might tell their friends.

I post on boards alot. I whore my stories on the Pimping and reccing thread to try and get people to read them.

Oh, and the character development game helps! If your charcter sounds interesting, people will want to see them in action.

You can write well but no one would be interested to read it because its so... you don't interest them. You have to pique people's interest. Like Dana said, spice up your post. Show people who you are Not who they want to see.
