Posts: 1870 | July 26th, 2008 at 06:01am Oooh Zing:I hate my "father." I hate him so fucking much. He never wanted me. He abused me in every way. He would always say how I wasn't good enough, and that I'm going to go nowhere in life. He treated me like I was the dumbest person on the planet. He would literally throw me off of chairs and onto the damn floor when he thought I had an attitude, but in reality, he was just taking his "problems" out on me.
He loves his job so damn much, that he started looking into getting a divorce with my mom behind her back for over a year. After she found out by finding some forms back in January from his lawyer, he just walked out, and I haven't seen him since. He loves his job more than his fucking kids. He said he 'wants to give your mom her life back' but it's so fucking obvious that he just wants his. So he could live in Miami, and live the fucking single life.
He's such a fucking asshole that he shut off all of the utilities in the house, and refused to give us support money, so he could pay his bills, even though he's a selfish bastard and wants all of the money to himself. My mom can't work, so we were almost on the streets, since we could hardly even afford bread, nonetheless bills. He knew it, too. He did absolutely nothing. He even has a court order that he wasn't allowed to do all of that shit, but nobody is doing a damn thing.
I emailed him the other day about how I feel, since he never bothered to try to talk to me anyways, and he basically said that he could explain his side, but I'm too much of an idiot to understand. I'm not even kidding.
What side of his is there? He left us dirt broke, with no food, or medical insurance, when me and my sisters have numerous medical problems that have to get taken care of. There's no excuse for that. He makes $50,000 a year, and he acts like he works in a burger joint.
I even told him that he was the cause of my deep depression that I have been fighting for a good three years now, and he said he didn't care.
Rant over. I feel better now

Posts: 97 | July 26th, 2008 at 06:24am Never had one. He apparently left before I was born. My mother has shown me a few pictures of him. But he doesn't look like a guy I'd like to have around.  Then again, she is always telling me how I am "Just like Dave." And that isn't a compliment. So apparently I remind her of the guy she hates most.
They are definitely a necessity, albeit, some people don't end up with the one they deserve. |

Posts: 1067 | July 27th, 2008 at 07:09am My dad is amazing. He is amazing because I never get to see him. Like, I never got to see him much because my parents got divorced when I was two, I believe. I have never heard him shout. I have never seen him smoke. I have only ever seen him drink something alcoholic once, and that was on a holiday occasion, I believe.
Now, I live on a different hemisphere than my father and honestly, I love it. He doesn't pay child support, so I can email him and ask him for whatever and in a couple of months, it will be in my mailbox. From him I got my first cellphone, digital camera, playstation and I believe there was more.
It sounds horrible that I like being so far form such an amazing person, but there was a turning point in my life earlier this year where I decided that I don't need any family other than my mother, and that is because she feeds me. I don't know, if I never got to see my family or the land I grew up in again, I would probably be one percent sad and ninety-nine percent not giving a fuck. It's much easier this way as well. |

Then the man I call dad now(Alex.) came and started a relationship with my mum but he had to go back up to Scotland because his mum was sick. My, biological, dad then returned and I was conceived. As soon as he found out my mum was pregnant he fucked off again. Alex then came back from Scotland and 'fell in love' with me instantly. He hasn't left me since and I think he'll always be here.
I got one birthday card when I was 11 from my biological dad. In May, my birthdays in September and he called me Natalie 
I see Alex as my real dad. |

He won't call or text for months, sometimes years. And then he'll just jump right back in my life. This usually happens when he has a new girlfriend.
But when we get along, he'll let me do just about anything. Unlike my mom or step-dad. |

Posts: 2549 | July 28th, 2008 at 06:36pm I seriously used to get along with my dad so, so much, but now... well, to be honest, lately I really dislike him.
We used to get on so well, literally I would practically idolize him, but since he had an affair a few years ago, our relationship has been going down hill.
He leaves my mum and I on tender-hooks every single time, because his mood changes and his temper is so short that it's unbelievable. My mum and I actually fear him coming home from work, because he is that bad. He's not violent, but his temper is terrible. It really is.
He knows that I don't "treat" him the same way as I used to and he knows that our relationship is getting worse. I've also told him the reasons as to why I don't speak to him much and such, but even still, he acts exactly the same.
I just think that it's too far to go back now and to be honest, I can't forgive him. I've "told" my mum several times that I prefer it when it's just us two. I think deep down, that she wants to leave him too, seeing as she's told me so beforehand, during the aftermath of the affair. Although, it was a couple of years back, she still took him back.
It's not that I hate him, I just strongly dislike him. Hate is a strong word to use. |

He always laughs at what I wear, he had a huge go at me because of my earrings and he wouldn't let me stay rounf my friend's because he didnt know them. Funnily enough, he doesnt know ANY of my friends!

then my mum started going ot w/ my step dad and it wa cool. untill my father started fuckking again. and this year in like a school activity where the parents go and see what you've done; my real fathers wife showed up and basically ripped some hair from my head. and he didn t say anything. it was just horribe. |

My mom's fiancee (future step-dad) is pretty okay sometimes. Other times, I feel like he hates me. I know he doesn't, but I know he doesn't like me, either. =/ I don't really care, though. We avoid each other a lot, so it's all good. |
