What's weird though, is that many people and I have realized that once you download Mozilla, IE becomes even worse. It takes longer to open and the pages take forever to load.
So, does Mozilla Firefox have some code or something that bugs up IE (thats what my friends and I think)? |

What's funny is most mibbians don't use IE. Most use firefox or safari. |

And I think that's bull, my IE works perfectly fine, loads really fast, and nothing takes forever to load. My computer isn't terribly new either, so that couldn't be the reason for it. Besides that, I have a ton of browsers installed here. |

For most people that use IE on mibba, it doesn't load fast.
And for me it doesn't load fast. It takes up to a 30 seconds to load a page.
And firefix takes like... seconds. So, it's really how good your computer is, I think. |

I had Safari on another computor, and I actually really liked it...
IE is easiest for me to use anyway... |

I like Firefox better because pages seem to load faster and you can actually customize it. Right now, I'm using the Colorful Tabs extension. I like it because it enhances the overall appearance.
However, there's not a whole lot of difference on speed on my home computer, because I have dial-up. But I've used both IE and Firefox on broadband connections and found that Firefox over IE does make a big difference in the speed. Plus, it doesn't crash all the time. |

And I dunno about that, my computer's a Dell from 2003 (I think it's 03) and it's jam-packed with so much stuff and it's not organized. I mean dad's been telling me I'm gonna need to get an external harddrive to sort everything out and make it faster. I mean, my dad's a computer consultant, he can take it apart and put it back together. He updates and checks everything regularly, and he puts on new versions of things and installs the latest craze as soon as it's available. Maybe that has something to do with it.
All I know is that Safari and Firefox annoy the crap out of me, and my IE is my best friend. |

Age: 13 Gender: Female Posts: 260 | August 1st, 2008 at 10:43am I think IE sucks in all ways I can think of. I use FireFox, because I'm just so comfortable and use to it. I also tried Safari, but didn't nearly like it as much as FireFox. Although the pages did load faster, I had to have that icky silver iTunes type theme, and navigating was much harder.. : ( |

How is IE sucky?
I mean, it fulfils all my internet needed functions, and I'm sure to those who use it it does the same.

Search NoAds on google.
It's free and you can block pop ups as long as the application is open. |

It takes about a minute for each page to load
That's why I switched to Mozilla
It takes about 5 seconds and barely has any pop-ups |

And on my pc I run Firefox, IE and Safari.
Safari runs better on the mac though.
But Firefox is still better. |

Age: 18 Gender: Female Posts: 179 | August 2nd, 2008 at 11:47pm I only converted to Firefox because someone suggested I couldn't see a website right because I was using IE
Ever since I think about converting back to IE; it's not slower, it has a bigger screen because there's no toolbar, and it's just really easy to use.
But I don't like change, and seeing as it took me so long to get into using this, it's here to stay.
I don't believe when people say Firefox is faster than IE though, there's no difference, and if anything, due to the graphics on Firefox, IE should be faster. |

IE doesn't read coding right.
Firefox does, therefor more and more people are using it. |

About 7.5-8 MBs.
It's not very large. |
