FoxBoy Writer's Block Age: 16 Gender: Male Posts: 19	August 4th, 2008 at 06:31pm I mainly use Firefox 3, but, if it is messing up I use the KDE default browser Konqueror. On my Windows PC, I use Firefox 3 too and IE 8 BETA in the rare event of Firefox messing up.

I had both IE and Firefox, and I tried Firefox sometimes, but I didn't really like it. It also went really slow and it made everything choppy. My sister said that the computer had to "get used to Firefox."

I don't understand why MF is so much faster though, I mean, you're using the same internet connection and loading the same webpages. Why does one browser bring up pages quicker. -Needs to be enlightened-

Most browsers have there own little bugs, some less than others, but IE has a ton of them, coders (web designers), usually have to use special codes when designing a page. IE doesn't "read" a lot of codes so while it may work on most/all of the other browsers, on IE it doesn't.

I used to use IE when I had a Windows computer, and it was bad. I agree with Mrs. Malfoy-Havok above - IE is terrible for HTML coding. Sometimes I wish IE would just become defunct already! I'm going into the field of web and graphics design, and I've heard all about how horrible it is designing web pages to suit the IE browser.

o rly? Ink Slinger Age: 15 Gender: Female Posts: 884	August 16th, 2008 at 03:03am Haha, MF. I like that abbreviation. I switched from IE to Firefox about a month ago. It's so much better. Although I still have to use IE for stuff like YouTube or MySpace music players...don't know why. I also prefer IE's way of downloading things and saving pictures. Firefox is better in general, though.
the lover. Fanfic Fanatic Age: 47 Gender: Male Posts: 1778	August 17th, 2008 at 09:01pm I use Safari. But it's still quite new so a lot of things don't work on it. So I switch to Firefox every now and then. Every time I use a browser without a spellcheck I freak out because I then feel stupid.
