I agree with pretty much.. Everyone? here. Dujo wouldn't give up until the fat lady sang to save Mibba.

And Opera is SO not happening anymore. Hand
Razz

What's the matter with Opera?
I totaly do that for a living, half the people in bands are classicaly trained... Neutral

I doubt that, it'll happen anytime soon. A kid being found out by their parents.
I think people only start to notice when a site becomes really popular.
Like xanga and myspace or facebook.
Mibba shouldn't have that problem.

Actually I love opera, but figured it wasn't very popular with others. Razz

But yeah. Hopefully not, though I could never really see Mibba being flooded by too many n00bs.. Well.. Not too many. Wink

I think it's rather silly saying that all young people are immature, it's just being based off of how many years we've been sitting on a rock called Earth. If a 9 year old is mature, why not? I'm 11 and I'm told I'm mature for my age.

I had 13 up at first because I thought people would message me calling me a stupid kid, telling me to get off Mibba, I started thinking 'Well if I get banned, I get banned, it would be my own fault anyway,'

Mind set, Maturity is really what counts on here. Most definitely, there are some things not even good four fourteen year olds, so their should be mature content restrictions for that, but it definitely does boil down to the fact of how mature the registree is.

Yeah, maturity.
I mean, I've seen eighteen year olds on here who can't write half as well as the twelve year olds. It's just a matter of how mature you are.

With the parental thing, I'd imagine that they would just tell their kids not to come on here, if they didn't approve, rather than suing Dujo.

Don't worry, Dujo, if you get sued, I'll donate $20 Cute

That's Australian money Grr

I will start a petition if Dujo gets sued. But then it will undoubtedly fail and I will have to resort to standing on the side of the street with a sign on a wooden pole I stole from a stop sign.

I think the whole maturity thing is true though. I know that at twelve I shouldn't have even been allowed near a computer, but I've met some twelve year olds that put my vocabulary to shame. I don't think that the whole age thing should be too strict, just on the content of their stories, poems, journals, etc.

I don't think age matters. Idk.
I've read stories from nine year olds, and seriously, they're great.

Nine year olds? on Mibba?

That should definitely at least be reported to Dujo.
This site, even-I know I'm being a hypocrite, but still-should be a 10+ site.

Shifty When they get reported to Dujo, then what? They get banned? They didn't exactly do anything wrong or break the rules.(Except for the ones that have, though.)

Are you sure they're nine?
And that they're not just fucking around with their age.
Because that's a pretty popular thing to do on Mibba.

I joined at fifteen, and kept my age secret for a bit, because some sites can be really mean and patronising to you if you're fairly young. But Mibba isn't like that one bit, which is one of the reasons why I dig it so much.

I saw a thread where someone had a go at someone for being "9"
tehe
It was clearly obvious she had messed with her age, and that she was far older than 9. lmfao

I don't know.
Some are just plain obvious (the 69s tehe )
But I probably couldn't tell if an 18 year old put their age at 14, say.

Twelve year old and proud here. File

And in a year later, I'll be like, "I'M OLD ENOUGH TO JOIN MIBBA! Wow"

^ lmfao Zero you legend. I'ma write that on your bday thread File

I considered saying I was older, but decided against it x]

And if Zero really is twelve -suspicious look- Then that should prove all the under 13 rules wrong 'cause she's mature and awesome Shifty Possible more so than lot of new older people who don't pay attention to the rules. Arms

I agree with the people above, their maturity should be taken into account. But saying that, a lot of under 13s can be extremely immature so I can guess why people would want it as a rule. -is rambling-

I'm 14 and I act like a very pervy seventy seven year old Weird
And then sometimes, I act like I'm a really wise thirty five year old.
So no matter what I do, I always seem to act older than I am... File
I think it's actually quite rare for me to act like the 14 year old I am Shifty
Oh, and I'm sure my mums uttered the words, "Act your age, not your shoe size" at least once to me, and my shoe size is 6.

Sorry, I'm rambling... *Goes to bed.*

I personally think that majority of Mibbians are def. very mature for their age.

Where's the fun in depriving our fellow young-ones a membership with the best site known to humankind?

Ha!

I love how this topic is totaly flipped.
I remember wondering how people could be so old on these sites.
And now I'm one of the older ones.
elle oh elle.
