dear brittaney Cliché Catastrophe Age: 19 Gender: Female Posts: 353	July 28th, 2008 at 05:26am Honestly, I am really attached to my cat. No, I don't take her around places but I do call for her when ever I get home and I say that I love her and tell her goodbye when I leave. I don't know what I would do without her. I talk to her even, haha, I know, weird. But it is like she is my child too sometimes. Tell me what you are like with your pet.

I talk to them, tell them I love them and just love being with them. I love being with them more than humans. But I am mostly attatched to my older dog, tess. I have 8 rabbits, which I have to go see at least once everyday. I have a cat that has to stay in my room most of the time because my father is mean to her, so I pay extra special attention to her. She sleeps in my bed and can just sense when I'm upset. Then she'll climb up on my lap and go to sleep. I have a snake that also stays in my room, and I love it dearly. Finally, I have my dog who I love so so much. She's a little bit of a brat, but I always have to say Hi to her or bye when I leave or come back from somewhere.

It's weird though, how she's like a child to me, but sometimes it's the other way round. I'd be sitting at the table in the morning eating breakfast, and she'll sit next to me and make sure that I eat it all. She sleeps next to me every single night, and even sleeps in with me in the morning. I find it hard to imagine life without her, especially as she's getting quite old now. People say I'm too attached, but I don't see it any strange at all.

When ever I try and read my book or magazine, he always sits in front of me like he's taking an interest too. I'd be so lost with out him.

I love her to bits and I don't know what I'd do without her. I have her everywhere I am, and at night, I have her sleep on my bed, so I don't get the feeling of her just disappearing.

Even though she isn't mine, I still treat her like she's been mine forever. But my hampster is a different story. He's family. And he always will be. I love him to death. Like; he used to have his own armchair and it had his little cushion on it and now I always sit on that chair, I'd never sat in it until he was put down, and I just feel a huge connection with him when I sit there. I still have his collar in my room, even though it's all battered because he had it for so long, ahaha. Lastly, my mum made a little collage of pictures of him to go on the wall next to the door to the living room, and whenever I go out now I always touch the frame on my way out in a way of saying goodbye to him. Call me lame, but it comforts me

My mom thinks that I spoil her too much but every time I look at her it's like she is my kid! Everyone in my family jokes that my cat is my daughter seeing how I treat her. My cat acts like me too! My mum says it's not heatlhy, but I don't care I'm the same way with my dog, her name is Tess too We had to put her and my other dog Kazi in the kennel when we went to Florida for two weeks, he's insanely attached to my mom. It's adorable :] Anyway, I guess they were starting fights with the dogs around them, and somehow Tess got a cut on her head that needed stitches. My mom conveniently forgot to mention that, and I didn't find out until we got back yesterday. I freaked out completely, it just made me so worried. She's my baby, and I would die if anything bad happened to her. I'm also very attached to my horses Ace and Flower. I talk to them a lot, it's just so much better then talking to people, because they don't try to give you advice or say how wrong you are for thinking that.

Especially Loukje. She's getting pretty old, but she's still healthy and all and I just. I don't know. I don't think about it too much. I feel grateful for having them in my life, I really do; but I try to take it a day at a time. My last horse died really suddenly and it made me not even able to think about what could ever happen to the rest of them. But yeah; I'm attached to them, I think more than I am to people. It makes me go all mushy, just thinking about it.
