1) It's got a bigger screen
2) It has wireless connections with the computer and other Zunes
3) FM radio
4) I think it looks cooler, anyway
5) You can have a pic in the background
6) It takes a wider range of media file types
What do you think about Zune? |

I personally like Ipods, just cause I own one and it makes me happy enough. haha. But maybe once my ipod breaks more my battery just gets jacked up, I shall purchase a zune! yeeee |

Then again I only know three other friends with a Zune period. |

it was only after i got it that i realized the zune was far superior to an ipod. |

I love Zunes. My journalism teacher loves them, so I've worked with one for a long time.
I didn't know there were so many options though. I just liked to mess around with Mr. T's tech.  He had some odd stuff.
Anyways, that's all I've ever done with Zunes... |

Bigger than iPods, and yes. You can get anywhere from 4G to 150G, and they're moderately priced. |

Do Zunes have slots for those little card thingys? I figure if I can buy the smallest memory they have for one, I can always slip in a card I already have and hold some more songs.
How many songs does 4GB hold? |

Posts: 304 | August 2nd, 2008 at 07:10pm I love my iPod, it's a first generation Nano and I got it about three and a half years ago. I'm starting to need more memory and I looked into a Zune but I actually prefer my iPod. Zunes tend to break much easier. My iPod has been through hell and back, and is still working just fine. A lot of my friends have bought Zunes and have broken the screens, fried it, and all sorts of strange things, and Best Buy isn't great at fixing MP3 players, so they couldn't even get it fixed.
My iPod has been dropped in glasses of water, fell from crazy heights (I was listening to it at Yellowstone and sitting on this rock thing on the side of a mountain, dropped it, and it fell about 20 feet xD), and a horse stepped on it once. It still works fine, so I'm willing to pay a little extra for the iPod
By the way, you can get picture backgrounds, different media files, different games (even Halo!), even different fonts for your iPod's text. My friend played with some files and my iPod has a purple heartagram background, a black menu with a purple highlighter, a cool font, and some pretty fun games, all on a 1st generation iPod nano! And it takes up like than 20 MB for all of the junk.
You just have to know someone that can do things to your iPod to get it nice. I just prefer the iPod because I'm a klutz and I drop things, plus I'm used to iTunes.  |

I used to have the first generation Nano iPod, but the hard drive went in it, so I got a gift card through Best Buy as a replacement for the iPod and used that to get a 30GB black Zune.
The only problem I had is that my battery apparently over-heated and caused the lower screen to crack. There's two screens; the one on top is fine, but the one inside it is cracked and the screen has went black in those spots. Almost the entire top half of the screen is black. They won't replace it because they say it was my fault, but I don't see how I could have cracked the inside screen and left the outer screen fine. =/
I still love it though. My friend has one and we always send each other things on the bus to school. I don't care that it's like a brick either compared to the new iPods out, it has a personality to it. Its wheel thing has a wonderful smiley face sticker on it now.

No sorry =( Zune's don't hold memory cards. But there is a 4GB Zune. It could hold around 1,000 songs or so. |

Zune is awesome. I never had a problem with it, I got the 30 gig and I have barely used half of it and I have a crap load of songs... and I dropped it about like 30 times and its still working fine. xD
my friend dropped her ipod once and it broke. >.>;
