mia;dance. Ink Slinger Age: 15 Gender: Female Posts: 804	August 1st, 2008 at 02:10pm Right now, I'm a bit mad at our school principal for all the school traditions he has broken recently. Well, not exactly 'recently' -- he started breaking some traditions last school year, which gained him multiple death glares from a lot of students in all year levels. For example, the celebration for nutrition month. Honestly, I'm not a very healthy person. I'm soft and squishy, and my bones are all hidden somewhere...there, it's like they're not even there. Anyway, even if I don't lead a healthy lifestyle, I still love the activities we have on Nutrition Month. Under normal circumstances, we have song-writing contests (regarding health and whatnot), singing contests, poster-making contests, slogan-making contests, and... the works. Today, I just found out that our school principal has CANCELED all these said activities! Plenty of students were all WTF at him, including me. I mean, the school has been doing this for YEARS now, and just like that, he changes a (somewhat) tradition? I also heard that he's canceling the prom. I mean, sure, the aforementioned event isn't all that important... but don't we have the right to experience that? Although it won't drastically change my whole life whether or not there will be a prom, but wouldn't it still be nice to get all dressed up and just... socialize? I guess what I'm trying to say is that.. he's been spoiling all the fun lately. And I feel bad for the younger students, because they probably haven't experienced the things I have experienced in my previous years, which were absolutely fun by the way. Anyone would enjoy, really. So... what about you? What are your school principals like?

Ever. ...Oh wait, I think that's the deputy principle or someone. I can't really remember our actual principal doing anything spectacular, or anything to really annoy me. He taught me algebra in year 8 (I'm not sure if it's normal for heads of the school to teach classes, but ours do) and he seemed cool then. The only thing that annoys me is that the school insists on calling students 'learners' and homework 'home learning' and stuff. And what they chose to spend the money on, but I don't think it's the principle that would make these decisions. So yeah, I guess I don't really mind our principal.

I mean, not just because he has been cancelling events that make our school awesome but.. he's seriously inconsiderate. My friends were accused of something they didn't do, and he didn't even give them a chance to voice out their side of the story. I felt so bad for them when they got transferred to the lower section for something they didn't do. And he's so creepy. He does this thing with his tongue all the time... I can't exactly explain it, but if you see it, it'd give you shivers down your spine. Have you guys heard of the game "Bring Me"? The rules are simple; there would be a host, and the host would say "bring me..-insert-thing-here" and the players would just bring the thing the host asks for, and whoever gets to the host first wins. Well, in this teachers' party thing, they played Bring Me and I heard that the host said "bring me a condom"... ...and our principal was the only one who brought one. So, we were like, "... he was planning on getting laid?!" Haha. It's funny, but very.. strange.

I think, 70+ or something? o.O He's older than my grandpa. >.> When he sings our chinese school song, he really scares us. He's really.... loud. He can be in a musical or something.

I don't even know what he does. He just... sits there and/or gives us weird speeches in assembly that mean something... apparently. Or he goes to our French class and tells us the story of how he said 'massage my ass' instead of 'massage my neck' in French, for the hundredth time.

One time, I got sent to the principals office for cussing in class, and she was all like "Is there anything that's happening at home I should know about?" I guess she's too friendly and tries to get into our personal lives. Plus, she's really annoying and gives me and my friends detentions for no reason, yet when someone gets into a massive fight, she just gives them a warning and doesn't do alot, unless they've gotten into like, five billion fights. She has it out for me and my friends, I swear...Maybe it's because my friend 'accidently' tripped her on her first day...

He's banning iPods and cellphones, making the Year 13's wear uniform and is making the Year 11's 'juniors' instead of 'seniors'.

By the end of the first two terms she had sacked 5 teachers, replaced our canteen with health food and eradicated all mufti days we have. Everyone hates her, even the parents, but they can't get rid of her.

Our principal has the worst false teeth I've ever seen in my life. Haha. I should know, my uncle's a dentist.
