How far did you go just for an instrument?

But anyways, how far did you go just for your instrument? This is the furtherest I went: I used to be really interested in the Trombone and Tuba. I even made a deal with my band teacher to let me play them both. She agreed as long as I purchased my own Trombone. (That hurt the old piggy bank) But I did it. At the time it didn't occur to me that I wasn't allowed large instruments on my school bus. -_- So that meant I had to walk home everyday from school with my Tuba and Trombone. With my Trombone on my back and Tuba in hand I walked the uphill journey of 3 Km. Lets just say in the end I got really good at both of them AND got buff! |

I take my tenor home often but my band director keeps on getting pissed at me cause i always forget it. { Last year I like didn't practice at all cause I didn't like carry my tenor half a mile to my house and back, from the bus stop. }. So I'm not used to having to carry it. Finally she told me I could rent another tenor to keep at home and practice with!!!  |

| Guitar_Junior_C Writer's Block Age: - Gender: Female Posts: 22 | When I haven't bought my guitar, I borrowed it from my friend that lives somewhat close by me( about 1 1/4km?) I have to pass by four bus stops. But after school, I have to carry my heavy school bag and some files plus the guitar. I walk near the forest area and my feet almost cracked by the time I got home(its a long, bended way up the road). I repeated this for a few times until my Dad bought me one. But I've been thinking, if my father didn't bought me one, I would carry on.  |
