Why Do You Despise Facebook?

Recently, I deleted my facebook account because let's be honest, facebook is essentially useless...to me at least. It's also annoying and over-rated; everyone has it. I'm not trying to diss it or anything, but it's my opinion.

My friend is currently trying to make me get my facebook account back, just so I can look at pictures of her. Why on Earth would I want to do that?
I see her a lot, therefore I see her in person and when I go to see her next, I can always see them then. Looking at pictures of someone isn't exactly connecting with people in my opinion.

I'm wondering...for those who despise facebook, as I do, Why do you despise Facebook?
How on Earth do I get her to stop?

XD I do despise Facebook.
I have all MySpace, Bebo and Facebook but I avoid Facebook like the freaking plague. It's got so many functions you can have but you can't choose which ones will show up on your profile. They all sit there, minimised or not, you can still see them!

Bebo = Love and MySpace = Complicated.

But I'd suggest getting her to just send you the photos online or through e-mail if she's that hooked on you seeing them. Put your foot down and outright refuse. Facebook is evil and you refuse to be seen with an account tehe

I wouldn't say I despise Facebook - I just prefer other social networking sites like MySpace. I have a Facebook, but nothing's on it XD

I like facebook Shifty
It's more "mature" than the other networking sites.

It's not aimed at teens, it's aimed at the older generation.
Simpler layouts, a layout that is simple, and you don't have to know everything about HTML or whatever to use.

I like it because most of my family are on there, and it's different to MySpace or bebo. (Of course, I have one of them too!)
