"What the fuck did you do to my hair?!?!" --------------------------------------------------------- Weather you did it yourself or a friend did it to you, you had to pretty much live with it, unless it was a little snip here or there. Maybe it was a cool hairstyle, but an interesting way of getting it. Tell us! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For me it would be bordome. Grabbing a comb and tangling it up in my hair. Me and my friend tried to pull it out. We put lotion in my hair to slide it out.. Anything so i didn't have to cut it...but that wasn't the case. Now im stuck with these bangs that i never wanted in a million years. I ended up liking them though =] CAUTION: When bored, stay away from combs >.<

Fanfic Fanatic Age: 15 Gender: Female Posts: 1740	August 25th, 2008 at 12:14pm In about April this year, I thought I could trim my own hair and I trimmed it quite well until I stopped paying attention to what I was doing and snipped a huge bit of hair off the side. /: I paniced and trimmed the other side short to match it, but then got too scared to cut the back, incase I ruined that too. So I ended up with this bob / mullet thing that was really short and looked awful.

I always had that real heavy fringe that hangs in your eyes and straight cut all the way around, just above my shoulders. Bob, much? Bad, bad times. Of course, I knew no different. I've contemplated cutting my own hair many a time when my side fringe gets way too long. I'm always too scared though, so my hair just ends up looking like an overgrown mess until I get round to going to the hairdressers XD

Ugh. But I've never cut my hair wrong, I always go to the hairdressers unless my fringe just needs a trim. I cut my brothers hair though, when I'm pissed off with him I mess it up (:

When I was in primary I decided to cut my fringe with a pair of art and crafts scissors - not very smart. And then once when my mum was trimming my fringe I moved suddenly, and she ended up chopping off a whole diagonal section. Or, let's talk hair dye accidents. Like the time I dyed my hair red and the result was positively neon orange. Or when I dyed a section permanent red, and the second I washed it, it faded to salmon pink. I don't bother any more

Or when my Gran gave me scissors and told me to cut the paper and not my hair. That was silly, so I obviously cut my hair. It was down my back and I cut it to my chin.

I got all my hair chopped off, and the hairdresser messed it up soooo badly. She cut it too short, and I swear to fucking god she has no idea how to cut short hair. I was left with super, super SUPER short hair that looked terrible, and I had to wait 6/7 months for it to grow out before I got it re-cut (by a different hairdresser.)
Wednesday Addams Amateur Author Age: 16 Gender: Female Posts: 283	August 26th, 2008 at 11:48am A while back I had this cool cut where the back was trimmed really short and I used to spike it, and it gradually got longer towards the front so the sides were chin-length. It was rad But my hair grows really quickly, and it's really thick so I have to go to the hairdressers like, once a month to get it relayered otherwise I end up looking like a yield sign... and my dad decided to save money HE would cut my hair... and he 'cut it short so I wouldn't have to get it cut for a while'... OMG it was so short!! the bits that were chin length were now so short my entire ear was visible... and the back was so short and uneven my friend asked me really seriously if I was losing hair due to stress or something... Plus obviously it wasn't layered so it was still really wide And the sides were no longer diagonally cut, getting shorter towards the back... it was cut STRAIGHT ACROSS. God, it was horrible. I'm still trying to grow it out.

Oh, and I tried to dye over black with chestnut brown. Didn't touch where my black dye still was. But where my roots were showing through, it was bright, bright ginger. (My hair's naturally dark brown, so I don't have to redo my dye for months because it just doesn't look any different.) Oh, and I had a purpley-red streak through my fringe and a lump of my hair before I dyed it black. It looked fine, for a while, since I got it done by my very nice hair dresser. But after a while! Oh sweet Jesus - the bleach in it made it go ginger. A ginger streak when I had proper dark brown hair. I looked hilarious, it's gotta be said. And then I had all these horrible braids put in, and most of them were brown. A few at the front were orange. xD Oh, I've messed with my hair big time over the years. xD

She liked the way I had my fringe, so I offered to cut hers the same, but she was yelling at me about it, so I cut a biiiig chunk out of the front and said it was the 'in thing'.

People told me to do it again since it was the washout kind, so i did! But the second time it never came out... The hair dresser had to dye my hair back to brown, but it wasn't really my shade of brown.... so i had two shades of brown, blonde highlights, and a bit of purple in my hair

I cut my own bangs in 1st grade and I had uneven ones for a good year because of it. In eigth grade I started braiding my hair in a million little braids and I couldn't stop so I went to school the next day looking like an idiot because I had little braids sticking out every which way. And up north last summer my friend got a comb stuck in my hair and had to cut a piece out. Hm. Hair stories are funny.

So, I asked my Dad if I could cut my hair, and he thought I meant, just trimming it, but I cut the fringe, and it went all wonky and I ended up having to stick gel in my hair, and slick it all right back for like, 6 months. I kept it like that, until I could finally get it re-cut.

A lot of hair was cut. Sad day Same with when I had one of those wire headbands. I kept playing with it, and it got so tangled, it took my dad about three hours and a pair of plyers to get it all out
Eyeliner stains Ink Slinger Age: - Gender: Female Posts: 813	August 29th, 2008 at 04:22pm In 6th grade while my mother was napping, I've decided to give myself a haircut using a tiny winy mirror and kiddie scissors. So I divided my hair in two sections and cut the left, I thought it turned out pretty well and fucking straight (looking like a bush but what did I know about layers back then) so I decided to do my other side and I cut too much so the front was short and the back was longer. Funny thing is that I refused to fix it cause I didn't want to cut my hair any shorter so I had to wear a pony tail for good 2 years before it all grew to a reasonable enough length.
