Age: 16 Gender: Female Posts: 67 | August 3rd, 2008 at 06:40am I've been playing guitar for two years, and taught myself. Most recently I got my third guitar, a Gibson, Epiphone, Les Paul Standard. He's amazing, and I would recomend one to anyone who likes Gibson's. His name is Charlie's Pyromancing Demolition Lover. |

I'm quite proud of that, because I hadn't played guitar in months, but I could remember the chords and everything |

I started out with acoustic, and I still love and play it, but at the end of last year I also started electric too. They both rock |

Age: - Gender: Female Posts: 79 | August 22nd, 2008 at 07:28pm I got my first guitar last night. It's one of those cheap packages that comes with an amp, headphones, tuner and all that jazz. It was like $270. And the company of it... I never heard of it. Ibanez. what the hell is that? But it's pretty sweet I think, for a first guitar.
Now if I could only learn how to play a song by the talent show. D:
I'm DYING to learn it better. xD |

Never played an acoustic guitar in my life, but I have to cause my best friend wants me to accompany her for some piano recital... |

Uhm. I think I prefer the acoustic guitar.
I like playing the electric one, but I think classic music is still the best genre of music.

Age: 17 Gender: Male Posts: 51 | August 27th, 2008 at 04:27am I've been playing for a almost ten years. My half-brother always played, and I really wanted to learn so I could be like him, but I couldn't quite get my hands around the frets so he got me a half size for my 7th birthday.
I'm pretty good at this point, my real party-peice is my Spanish guitar, I got a scholership into a performing arts school on that. The examinors just looked at me like "WTF is he doing?!" when I played it. Yeah... Ireland isn't too cultured.
I play electric with my band, and acoustic for my solo project. I kinda like playing acoustic more, you more caught up in the song. |

Age: 16 Gender: Female Posts: 18 | August 30th, 2008 at 01:52pm I got my guitar in 2006 and have been trying to teach myself since. I really want to be good at it, but I find it incredibly hard. I went to lessons for a while but I'm really shy and couldn't take being alone with the teacher. So my guitar playing fails, but I'm still trying, haha. |
