Personally I don't like either Obama or McCain,But I'd rather have McCain out of the two. Although I think he's so old, that if he indeed wins the election, when he finds out, he'll have a stroke or heart attack at the news. hahaha.

Haha...you're not thick. =]
A Republican is one of the parties in American politics.
We have 2 main, opposite parties, called Republicans and Democrats.
Republicans are very conservative, where Democrats are very liberal.
We get one nominee from each party for president each year. =]
[both are gross this year. We got the 2 weakest nominees they could find in our most critical time, in my opinion.]

Once again...I prefer honesty as opposed to a president who only tells us what we want to hear.
I'm sure most people do, but when your honesty shows incompetence there is a problem.

I don't feel it shows incompetence unless there's no urge to learn more about what you're doing.

It's not like he's applying to work at a pizza place or something. In some jobs, there is room to learn. But President? No, you don't have time to "learn more". You have to be informed from day one and be ready to take on the world. Clearly McCain isn't. If he hasn't even learned enough about the insurance policies of his own country, how could he possibly have the knowledge to balance foreign affairs in other countries? Simple; he can't.

You're acting like the man is mentally handicapped because he didn't remember something about insurance policies. rofl.
If he wasn't competant, they wouldn't have placed him as cantidate. He misses a beat on one question, and everyone gets all moody about it. Obama hasn't missed a beat? I certainly doubt that.

I never said he was "mentally handicapped" and I wouldn't use something like that as an insult. Mr. Green McCain has no excuse for his incompetence.

You see, if this was an isolated incident, it wouldn't be a big deal, but its not. McCain fucks up like that all the time. He even said himself that he didn't know much about the economy. You can applaud his honesty if you like, but just because he's honest doesn't mean he is suited to be president. With the YS ecconomy in the state it is, we can't afford to have a president who doesn't "know much" about it. He's incompetent and uninformed.

If Obama makes the same kind of mistakes, please point them out.

I would be stoked if McCain picked Mitt Romney to be VP, then I would vote for him, hands down. He needs someone younger to, idk, balance him out. haha.

You know who would make the perfect Republican candidate?
Colin Powell...dontcha think?

Taking Back Summer.:
I literally hate Clinton and Obama. Not going into details except this: they want to take out the troops in Iraq. Talk about not being sensitive to the first civilization. McCain, on the other hand, doesn't (or at least hasn't said anything about it, anyways.) plan on taking them out.

Clinton's getting votes because she's female, and her husband is the ex-president (I still think that they're trying to dictate the United States....).

Obama's getting votes because he's African-American. Sorry, I'm not trying to be racist, but I do believe that's true.

I'm not really into politics, but if I had to pick who'd be president, I'd definitely pick McCain. Thumb up And, no, I'm not only picking him because he doesn't want to take the troops out of Iraq!!! Mr. Green

Coffee Well, we all know how Dujo feels...
lmfao I started thinking that, too, after seeing only ads for McCain and not the whore and man-whore.

For the first quote, I'm not clear on what civilization you're talking about. First civilization? Dor you mean the one in Babylon or something? Clinton hadnt' really said anything about the war. She's only been babling about heathcare, and what other issues she would be tackling on. Obama has been talking about moving the troops or ending the war by 2010 or 2011. McCain, although he is experienced in war/military, that's not what we're looking for. We're looking for something that will help the economy. No one really wants to be stuck in a war that was started by the CONGRESS. Let me add that Bush isn't affecting the fact whether or not McCain is going to win.

McCain himself had said that he wasn't educated in the economy. For chrissakes, we're going to have 15 dollar per gallon of gas prices by the time it's the end of 2009. California's already jheading towards there!

Although McCain looks like he can make a change, I don't think it's someone US can look up to. The man's insane. He said he would help whatever disaster in the USA, yet he was partying with Bush, drinking icewine after the hurricane disaster. On the otherhand, Obama is kind of experienced in the economy. I think Clinton should have been still in the race.

I honsetly believe it would be the worst thing in American history to vote for McCain, i just don't understand what people would be thinking to let him win. I figure anyone associated with bush is corrupt and the man is no different.

I'm not a republican in any way and in LA you actually be laughed at for being a proud republican. We had bush for two rounds, 8 years! and people honestly believe that McCain should be in?!?!?

sighs thats it i'm movin to canada!

I haven't heard anyone talk about the fact that Obama wants to stop us from putting money in the pockets of the terrorists we're fighting but lessening our dependence on foreign oil. I doubt McCain would agree to that seeing as how he just loooooooooves the war.

Also, someone told me that John McCain is older than the chocolate chip cookie. Do we really want a president that was born before the invention of the greatest chocolatey treat?
