Age: 17 Gender: Female Posts: 979 | August 28th, 2008 at 10:42pm Tattoos are really starting to interest me at the moment. The art and process seems to fascinate me... I'm thinking about going into it myself when I finish up at university. I'm not sure I'd be good enough, though. :X
I'd like a couple of little tattoos, but I'd rather be 100% happy with my appearance first, before I go adding anything to it... But maybe that's just me in my odd ways. I don't know.

I really love tattoos... most, anyways. But for some reason, shoulder or ankle ones really annoy me. I love ones that are in odd places... like, when youn see it you're all "oh, that's cool. I would have missed that."
But for some reason, I love arm tattos. The only one i'd get would be an atom symbol on my wrist, but I've always thought about getting my astrological sign right below my thumb. |

I'm getting a two tattoos. One on both wrists. I'm so looking forward to it.
I'm getting
"In the mecca of us," on my left and;
"we all glow forever." on my right. And a small star maybe at the end.
It's gonna be gorgeous I hope. |

Age: 16 Gender: Female Posts: 74 | August 29th, 2008 at 10:29pm I love tattoos, I think, if they're done right, they can only enhance someone. If they're done wrong they can look a mess, though...
I plan to get tattoos, but I'm not sure what yet. For definite i'm getting COBHC on the back of my neck, in honor of Children of bodom. But for everywhere else on my body, they've yet to be decided, they're gonna be more meaningful than just a band, I think...Well, I hope, anyway.. |

I'm so psyched about getting my tattoo, which I've already designed.

Before, I didn't think they were that pretty but... I'd really love to have this symbol, possibly on my shoulder.
It'd remind me of all the things I've been through in life and that I can overcome anything. You know, a sign of being strong and never giving up on life.
As cliche as it sounds...
I'm pretty sure I could handle the pain. |

But I don't think I'd ever get one. The idea that they're so permanent turns me off. What if I get tired of it? Or I decide I hate it? I don't want to have to live with it (or go through laser removal) on my body.
I also have the pain tolerance of a two-year old, so that's a biggie. |

Can we see the design?
I'd love to go into tattooing, but I'd be too scared to mess up someone else's body.

Age: 15 Gender: Female Posts: 378 | September 25th, 2008 at 01:56am There are three tattoos that I plan to get once I either get permission or turn eighteen: "Vivi e lascia vivere", which is Italian for "Live and let live", "La vita e bella", which is also Italian for "Life is beautiful", and I also really want "Ricerca della felicità", which means "Pursuit of Happiness" in Italian. I've chosen Italian because it truly is a beautiful language and it's also a big part of my family.
And more recently, I've been interested in drawing tattoos for other people. Basically just simple designs that I can put together in a little bit of time. I prefer black and white drawings because then I can add all the detail. Adding color just seems to degrade the drawing somehow. |

I agree Italian is a marvelous language. What designs do you have going? Do they a particular style to them? Just asking... |

Hm, I'm not really going in any particular pattern... but recently I've been drawing floral tattoos, stars and letters in the old styles fonts. I haven't gotten into very large designs just yet, but I'm hoping to start working on something a bit more difficult soon. |
