Posts: 6135 | August 29th, 2008 at 05:11am So, this Photography Competition is pretty self explanatory. But, here are the basics.
Every week or so, there will be a theme chosen(one of the ones that isn't crossed out bellow), you guys will have a day to vote on the theme. Votes for the theme are sent to Happy Sunshine through PMs.
For entries, there is some editing allowed such as sharpening, editing contrast and saturation and resizing but, nothing really major like extreme photoshop. Feel free to keep your logos or names on your work if you would like. Borders are fine also,
Entries will be entered to Happy Sunshine. You guys will have about a week to send them in and then I will number and post them on here and then send me your votes and we'll have a winner within another 5 to 7 days depending on how many votes we I get and how quickly I receive them.
Themes:
-Black And White
-Portrait
-Self Portrait
-Building
-Flowers
-Trees
-Stuffed Animals
-Clouds
-Pets
-Shows
You can suggest more themes, I'm not very creative.
Just some more pointers encase I left something out:
-Entries can be no larger than 900px wide and no smaller than 300px wide.
-All votes and entries are sent to me unless someone else(Happy Sunshine) is taking over which will be stated.
-Happy Sunshine is taking over for the time being. Send all of your votes and entries to her.
-The time between contests and such will never really be exact but it will be pretty close. Sorry for those of you who like to be exact, school just started and I'm a little busy but, I'll still on every day.
-If you have any questions feel free to post them here or PM me.
I'm sorry if I left anything out and I'm sorry if I sound kind of redundant. If you see something missing, I'll be happy to fix my post ASAP. The first competition theme will be posted within a day or so. So, for now, vote for the theme you would like. |

Ohh, and who's the secondary competition moderator person? Did we choose one yet?
Aaaaand I have more ideas for themes: Wildlife, jewelry, water, sky, still life of home objects, something made of glass? Just some random ideas I had. And then I was thinking of abstract sort of your-opinion themes, like based on words or something. Or maybe do things like about mainstream or stereotypes. Just some ideas. *shrugs* |

This can be of anything. Trees. People. City. Anything. It just can't have any color on it whatsoever.
You can edit contrast and such, you should already know what you can and can't do from my previous post.
