I think there was a lot more meaning to songs in the 90s than what is now.
But, you know, it has the right mixture of voice and instrument.
Anyone else a little disturbed by the New Kids On the Block's new video?
I thought I was going crazy when I saw it.

Age: 14 Gender: Female Posts: 161 | September 11th, 2008 at 04:00am Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Green Day, Nine Inch Nails, basically everything everyone already said. And Pearl Jam was amazing as well. Eddie Vedder has the most beautiful voice...But yup, the 90s were awesome. I think older classic rock is better though, just my opinion.
Speaking of the 90s I also love Mudhoney. No one seems to listen to 'em. |

Age: 17 Gender: Female Posts: 4373 | September 29th, 2008 at 05:11pm Does anyone else frequently find thesmelves forgetting that the 90s were, like, 10+ years ago? Then again, I seem convinced that it's 2003... I am still twelve, right?
But someone will talk about an album that came out in '99 and I'll be like "oh, quite recent, then?" So maybe I think it's '01 or something...
/Probably slightly off topic |

Age: 14 Gender: Female Posts: 161 | September 29th, 2008 at 11:36pm I don't think the 90s were that long ago. I mean, if you talk about Pearl Jam or Nirvana or whatever, they were from the 90s...but they don't seem old to me because I listen to stuff like Rolling Stones. So 1990 wasn't that long ago, even though I wasn't even alive then. |

It sucks that I didn't get into the music then. I was stuck listening to country and pop.
It's all good now since the (only D: ) rock station where I live plays 90's rock
Soundgarden, Candlebox, STP, Nirvana, Sublime, Jane's Addiction, etc. Those bands FTW |
