I believe that we should all be happy. If you like smoking and you know the risks, fine, smoke. Just dont give anyone else second hand smoke of convince them to smoke if they dont want to. Same with drinking. Just live a happy life. If you dont want to get married or go to school, dont. If you want to spend the rest of your life in a cardboard box on the side of the highway reading a book, do it. If you want to marry, get married. My philosophy is this: Just be happy.

But what if being happy is destructive to you or the people around you? I am sure shooting up heroine makes some people happy, but it doesn't mean it is healthy.

That's interesting; it's opposite the usual. So, because of your "own philosophy" do you ever get anything done? You simply think: I can get it done later; I have all the time in the world. Do you ever take risks? You never worry about the future?

Please explain to me your mindset.

Life = 42.

When you understand what that actually means, you've missed the point.

WIN.

*may have missed the point but whatever, Douglass Adams is awesome*

My own philosophy is this: I am awesome. End of.

I think that if people didn't have personalities and opinions then everyone would get along. Like if you remove Jonas and the Giver from The Giver by Lowis Lowry, that's what it would be like.

I also believe that most 5th graders are entirely to shallow to get The Giver and other ideas based around conforming and having an opinion. Actually, ditto for 7th graders.

Hmm...
Well, I just wouldn't like to live with the feeling that I'm going to die soon.
If your rush through things, I believe that you don't have the time to savor every moment of your life.

It's not really from a lazy point of view. I just like to tell myself, for example: "I have all my life to fall in love. I don't need to rush it. I have all the time in the world." And if I die tomorrow, at least I would've gotten this far.

I really hope that helps. Confused
It's basically the feeling of being infinite.

Edit: I'm not using this for daily things, it's more of like...a thing I say when I need to take big decisions. It's taking your time to do things that are important to you.

Ah, thank you. I enjoy reading these and seeing the different viewpoints. That does help.

Fuck it all. You're just going to die anyway.

That being said, I live without regret. I live every day like it is my last. I go forth with a slight detachment from the world which allows me to see the big picture.

Instead of worrying about things I just have fun, is the point I'm trying to get across.

Because really, who wants to work their ass off every fucking day just to end up in a three bedroom house in the middle of suburbia; To end up a part of the status quo?

I don't fear death, I embrace it. If I die, I die. The universe will go on just fine without me.

This is quote:
"If something's not happening for you, it doesn't mean it never will. You're just not ready for it yet."
