Meh, I don't like Carolina, but I feel bad for Eric, 'cause I do like him.

It surprised me that right after the playoff run Detroit and Carolina couldn't find their game. It doesn't really help that the Wings lost key players, though. :/

Right. I feel bad for the Red Wings, but I never really liked the 'Canes, so meh.

It's a good thing I wasn't able to watch the Pens last night, because I definitely would have had a heart attack during those last minutes - first Fleury's save on Koivu, then Crosby's save on Niedermeyer. Wow.

And, Ozzie with his 50th shutout, Filppula given the Carhartt award for October....yesterday was a good day =]

I only watched the first period, but taped the rest to watch yesterday. Always hate the "Late Games Week".

There's always a week in the Pens schedule when they're in California for a roadtrip. All the games are either 10 or 10:30.

This is the one thing I hate about being in the eastern time zone. Especially since the Wings have to do those road trips twice a season.

Heh, but all the East Coast games for you are early, aren't they?

Yes they are. That's the unfortunate part because I don't come home till around 5 or 6. But it's not so bad because usually that's about when the first period ends or the second is half-way.

I think the best timezone is Mountain. A little bit of Central but the late games are still pretty late.

Quick question (and you have to suffice without video representation): would you give the first star to the goalie that let 2 of 47 shots in (and made some miracle saves) or the one that let one in on 30 (and made one miracle save). I, personally, would give it to the one that had 47 shots. Then again, that's just me.

Thank you! I was thinking the same thing but the NHL report put him on the third star (which he deserved more than that). But I'm not debated on who were chosen; just their placing.

About the timing, all game are 7 here when their in the PT, but everytime we go out, it gets earlier (MT = 6, CT = 5, ET=4). Basically other than homegames, the only other time the Nucks play in our timezone is when we go to Cali. And that's only a couple of times a year.

That stinks. We have a "Late Night" week, too. Most of the games start at 10.

Now Williams is going to miss at least two months with a broken fibula. WTF, can we please just make it tweo weeks without any major injuries?

Pens got shut out last night by Nabby and the Sharks. Can't say I'm completely disappointed. :/

Yeah, I just hope we don't get any more, because at the rate our "top" guys are going down (and the lengths) we'll be lucky enough to make the playoffs.

Someone was like "LMAO, the Sharks beat the Pens asses 5-0 last night!" and I'm like, "dude, at the Sharks are a good team-they're at the top of the standings. We got beat by the Leafs."

We lost to the Bruins 4-2.

Sucks about Williams and losing to the Leafs.
