In September 2009, it was reported that Metallica's Lars Ulrich was attempting to assemble a tour with thrash metal's "Big Four" — Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer and Anthrax — together on one bill. Slayer guitarist Kerry King broke the news by saying the following:

"I’ve heard people referencing Lars. I don’t know Lars that well and I haven’t heard it from Lars but apparently he’s talking to somebody about it. Maybe us, Metallica, Megadeth, I think he even threw in Anthrax..."

Is this true?
Would Metallica and Megadeth last together on a tour? Would any of them? Personally I think it'd be a great idea but of course there would be possible tensions between, particularly, Metallica and Megadeth.

What do you think?

I think it would probably be a good selling tour if they did do it.
I mean, I would wanna go and see it.
But I seriously doubt that Dave Mustaine could go on tour with Metallica and have no hard feelings...

But damn, that would be an awesome tour.

I guess there would be some tensions between Metallica and Megadeth as well with their fans.Cause both of their fan bases don't necessarily get along that well.Ahah :|
But I'd still go sporting a Metallica shirt :)

I think my brother would die. XD
He's a huge fan of all four bands.

Out of them I really only like Metallica. Though Anthrax and Slayer do have some pretty cool songs, and I just flat out don't like Megadeth. But if that tour ever actually happened and they came to Australia, you can best believe I'd go. It'd be too epic of an opportunity to pass up.
