rantrantrantfuck
I’m gonna rant for a minute.
Am I the only one who gets frustrated when she types in “Waycest” or something and suddenly Gerard and Mikey have a fucking sister?!
Seriously, no offence to those who write them, but its not Waycest. You obviously have no problem making them incestual so why with a non-existent family member?
Just make them NOT related. It won’t change the story that much. Or change the name.
And, even though it sometimes irks me, I won't complain about "waycests" where Mikey and Gerard are separated [but still brothers] and Mikey is adopted or somethingjust because I've read a few fucking amazing ones.
Also, people who put “not slash” in their introduction.
I hate that.
I search for slash because that’s what I want to read.
If you want people to know that your story doesn’t contain slash try this
Intro:
“This story is about blah blah blah blah. [hetero].”
The same goes for slash writers. I just get so fed up.
I really wish mibba had a search system like a afislash.com or tokiohotelfiction.com
Where you can search genre, rating, characters, warnings, etc.
That way the people who love to read mild and heavy stuff [like moi] can find what they want and people who read lighter stuff can find what they want.
No mess-ups.
And there’s a category thing that says Slash, Hetero, and General. Which means if you post a story you can put “not slash” in the intro but you just put it in the Hetero category.
I feel rant-y today.

Eheh. That's always an issue with 'Original Characters' in fanfiction; especially when they're supposedly related to the main characters.
I find it discussed more in anime/VG Fanfics, but still; I'm glad that it annoys someone else on here.
Maybe they just have a fetish for incest, but not for male sex0rzzz?
And, I find that in most cases, the rant goes more along the lines of "If it's slash, put it in the intro/Small summary"...
Not Hetero, because that's the social norm. But, hey; this website is backwards to me, anyway...What am I expecting?
