UM...HELP. Please
So I have a question.
How do you guys go about planning a story?
I’ve been thinking about my stories and how I’ve sorta lost interest in writing them. I didn’t plan the stories, I just had an idea and started writing without really thinking it through. I think that is where I’m making my mistakes. Maybe if I thoroughly plan a story, then I’ll be able to finish it up.
For those who have read my stories I’m not saying that I’m gonna stop writing them, though I’ve put them on hiatus, I’m gonna plan out the stories then get back to writing them.
So can any of you tell me how you plan stories or give me any tips? It would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance, L.

Erm, well I have a plan for my story. Like, I know the ending perfectly, even though I'm not there yet. I don't have the ordinary day stuff, I just get simple ideas for it.
Just, write out a timeline-type-thing for it and what big stuff is gonna happen and then how it ends. That helps on how much to put in a chapter, too.

I usually lack full ideas when I start writing. But I always have my main characters and major happenings. I don't always know the little details, but I always know things that will have an impact and I always know the order. So my advice is just think through the stories. I don't think full on details are needed, but at least know where the story is going and where it'll end.
