OBAMA
For once, a president who mentioned Muslims!
It always made me so made when they would just talk about Christians and Jews, because there ARE other people in the country! I think Obama's really going to do good things for this country. He genuinely CARES about the environment and the other nations...It makes me proud to be an american, and I haven't felt that nationalistic pride in YEARS. I really hope all of you support him in this, at least a little. Unlike Bush, I know he's actually going to help. Even if you liked McCain better, what's done is done. So you might as well make this country better now that you can!

Obama's already made some stupid decisions in who he chose to surround himself with. He makes me worried; I don't like him. He promised the same changes that a bunch of other people have promised, and he probably won't fix a thing.

That's true. I think I was just mostly excited about finally getting mentioned I was on a high for a few seconds and didn't think about all the other people :P

Like, waaaaay back in the beginning of the race (like... before the primaries), a member in the Non-Theist society sent letters to every candidate (Clinton, Edwards, Giuliani, Kucinich, Obama, and Paul) asking about protection of rights for Non-Theists. The Obama campaign was the only one who responded.

I love how he mentions everyone. He views people as people. Not as a skin color, not as a particular sexual orientation, not as a religion, or anything. He views us as all the same and he wants to bring peace. That's the kind of President we should have had a long, long time ago.

I smiled when he mentioned the non-believers. You want to talk about not getting mentioned? There are more non-believers than there are Jews, Blacks, and Gays, and we don't get mentioned at all.
