Snow!
I lived in Stalybridge, Greater Manchester, North West England and it is coming down in buckets here. I live halfway up a hiil, and we already have a good three inches of the stuff. I've just been told by my Dad not to go to school because it's seven miles away, in Oldham, so I probably wouldn't be able to make it back.
Kinny is a happy bunny. That history coursework was due in and now, she doesn't have to hand her crappy, 200 words too long essay on why America got involved in Vietnam. It's not like I didn't work really hard on it and I don't enjoy history - I'm an A* student, but I had to take all the evidence out to make it fit 600 words, and even then it was 813.
The school website says "School open as normal". They closed the school last time it snowed a reasonable amount, which is less than it has done now. All public transport went down in Bury then - that's a good twelve miles from the school and nineteen from my house. Personally, I think they'll close it later. Thank god I don't have to walk the half mile to the bus station.
Have a lovely day. I hope it snows that hard near you.
