My freaky Friday: A haunted house and UFO sightings. Robbie Williams will totally understand.
**I posted this last night but it had too many grammatical errors so I had to take it down after 2 minutes -once I finished hyperventalating. It's still not perfect but, it's better).**

(crop circle near my house)
Tess is one of my best friends. She is half American and lives in a village 15 minutes away from mine with her American mother, English father and two older sisters and her older brother Alex, and her brothers once homeless friend Ryan, and some old guy called Harry who lives in a caravan in their garden and another old guy called Terry or something who is good with computers... and then there’s her nine animals too.
Tess’ house is very big. It’s three floors and there is a living room on each. And there’s something along the lines of 6 bathrooms. I have known her for about four years now and there are still rooms I don’t know about. Tess’ house is also very old, with an amazing history to it. The house is actually named after the village. The house is also haunted. Dun dun dun
But yeah it has web articles about it and everything because it’s so goddamn freaky and they’re constantly having exorcists round and such. I haven’t experienced much myself but I’ve heard stories from her family. It definitely has a very haunted feel to it.

This is an old picture of her house.
I was pretty freaked out on Friday, when me, Tazz, Jess, Elijah and Chris all slept round her house.
Now, it’s the first time Chris has ever been to Tess’ house. We don’t even know Chris all that well, but he’s recently started ‘seeing’ Tazz. But he really seems like the no nonsense kinda guy if you ask me. He likes to gel his hair and talk ‘street’. But when were sat at Tess’ kitchen table having dinner he snapped his head quickly behind him to the little sort of serving hatch in the wall – you know those things that look like this.
Theirs lead into the dining room, known to be perhaps the most haunted place in the entire house. It’s a big room with like a gigantic long table and a grand piano which has played itself too many times. At the moment it was dimly lit. Chris goes ‘what the hell, did someone just walk past there?’
We were the only ones in the house at this point because her family were at this sort of punk band gig together, because that’s what they do, and we had literally just seen Ryan and Terry go outside together.
Chris looked round again twice more, and said ‘I swear someone in black keeps walking past there’ and Tess was like ‘Yeah, we researched them and think they’re called shadow creatures’ which was weird for me because I remember her telling me about seeing them in the dining room back when we first met.
And then like hours later when Me, Chris and Elijah were sat in the top floor living room, waiting for Tess and Tania to sort out Tess’ bedroom, I was curled on a chair with my head bowed because I was very tired and then Chris goes ‘What the hell? There better be a window open behind there, this curtain keeps moving by itself.’
Eli and I look up as he pulls the curtain back and says ‘what the hell? it’s closed’ and then he quickly releases it and goes ‘SH*T, f*ck, f*ck, f*ck I did not just see what I thought I saw then, no f*cking way.’ And he was going on like that for a while and I was like ‘tell me what you saw, seriously, you’re scaring me’ and he said he saw a white face it the window, which was also very weird for me because I remember like a year ago sitting in the same room with Tess and her sister and her sister’s friend who was telling us about the time she saw a white face in that window too.
I think I might make a journal about all the freaky things that have happened in that house. I should do it at Halloween, but I’ll have forgotten by then.
Anyway if we rewind from the face incident to after we’d eaten the pizza, we all took some beers and some blankets down to the park and drank and laughed and took some pretty funny photo’s which included the following:

Tess and Elijah who is the most unique boy ever I believe, licking my leg.

Elijah’s hair was so soft i couldn’t stop stroking it.(My face was so terrible in these you are not going to see it)

Still stroking...

Chris,Eli and Jess
But then Tania and I were close to peeing ourselves so we were running back home and I bumped into some big guy in black who looked really, really scary and I screamed (thankfully no pee escaped). It turned out it was just Ryan, who with long hair, a beard and big tattooed muscles, is a pretty scary character.

Picture taken of him behind Tess’ trampoline.
He was just coming to check up on us. Ryan used to be homeless, but he ended up going to a party one night where he met Tess’ brother, who invited him to sleep round theirs for the night. A night turned into days, and then into weeks, and then into months and then into seven years.
Anyways, when we got back we hung out in Ryan’s room, and he tried to convert us into heavy metal lovers, very unsuccessfully. And then after some stuff happening which I won’t mention because it was a lot but not really relevant or decent, we were lying outside upon Tess’ trampoline in our sleeping bags, as we had decided we’d spend the night under the stars. They were very bright and very pretty, and Tess was trying to point out constellations to me as the others slept.
But then she says to me ‘Stef, what the hell is that? Under the tree?’ and I looked, and under this gigantic tree that was in front of the trampoline there was this really bright light. It was too low down to be a star or an airplane. And we spent ages trying to work out whether it was moving or not, and we finally concluded that it was, very, very slowly. And we watched as it moved slowly to the right and then dropped behind Tess' garden shed. (Not literally behind it I don't think)
Then like 5 minutes later another one just seemed to appear out of nowhere in it’s original place and then this time move very slowly to the left so it was behind the tree, but you could see it flashing from behind, and then the flashing just suddenly stopped.
By now Tess and I are very freaked out. And then Tess points out another one to the right of us, which moves slowly down in a diagonal direction until it disappears behind the fence. And then I spot what I think is another one to the left of us, but Tess disagrees saying it’s probably just the North Star or something, although I thought it looked too low and like it was moving too – but it was hard to tell from behind the netting of the trampoline.
Eventually Tess falls asleep and I’m the only one awake for a while. It’s about 3am in the morning. I close my eyes and try to get some sleep, and about 15 minutes later I open them and the so called ‘North Star’ had disappeared, and now there was some more flashing from behind the tree again which eventually stopped.
And Tess woke up and I told her, and then Jess mumbled something about being cold so we all kind of decided we’d scarper and sleep inside instead. Where we were safe from the aliens.
Seriously though, it was pretty weird. I don’t know if i believe in aliens, but I like to keep an open mind. And what is weird is that my county (Wiltshire) is famous for being basically the most alien affected place in the world for some reason.
Robbie Williams moved 2 miles away from me because he loves everything about UFO’s and aliens. And there is even a book which came out a few years back -- which I wish I could remember the name of -- which is a fantasy about two kids who live where I live and find some like crop circles upon the plane I walk my dog up everyday and have like alien experiences and stuff. It’s pretty cool!
I researched and found this article, which is basically about all the ‘unexplained’ things that have happened within the region I live
This excerpt in particular interested me:
I’d heard a lot about the crop circles of the region - ancient images carved in stone reveal evidence of crop circles dating back to AD 800.
Since the 1980s, the circles have manifested in large numbers; they first appear in April each year in corn and canola. Barley comes next, then oats and wheat. Often after harvesting, a green replica is formed as a result of seeds being trodden into the ground by visitors.
Many people have experienced physical effects while visiting the circles, including losing time, nausea, vomiting and headaches. I thought it was quite scary when I read it’s not recommended for anyone with a pacemaker, or anyone who is pregnant, to go near them.
Visitors are also warned to leave the area immediately if they begin to feel unwell. Some people have even come away from the circles believing in miracles – with illnesses mysteriously cured.
Bearing in mind it is currently May and Tess’ garden is surrounded by barley fields.
My parents think it’s all rubbish but I’m still going to knock on Robbie Williams door and ask him if he wants to hear about my ‘experiences’ :)
So, there was my ‘freaky Friday’.
Have you ever had any supernatural experiences?
Do you believe in aliens?
Do you want to believe in aliens?
and
What would you do if you saw an alien?
Or a ghost?
Have you?
Want to?

I used to live in a house (well duh!) when I was 8 that was haunted.3 couples had lived there and every couple got divorced.
My parents didn't believe the lady who was trying to sell it though. My brother started talking to an 'imaginary friend' , he would also hear voices , my parents fought a lot , my mom wrote a letter about how she wished she were dead , needles were in a cake me and my grandma made , and I woke up at night and couldn't move or talk sometimes.
It was a very weird house. I was never really scared because I was little and oblivious....
Those were some terrible times :[

aliens definitely exist...i mean, how could humans be the only form of civilization in the universe? WE'RE aliens, if you think about it. there's probably more than one earth, with regular humans, just like us. but they don't think they're aliens, because, well...they're just like us! how creepy would that be?
i probably sound crazy lmao.

Tess's house sounds freaky but cool at the same time. Sounds like you had an interesting night.
I used to have a ghost in my old house but I told her she could move with us if she stopped messing up things when we were trying to sell the house.
rumbleroar, May 27th, 2009 at 12:23:49am
Ahhh that sounds freaky. D:
Bad Luck., May 27th, 2009 at 12:20:26am
Haha yeah i love Robbie too. Kinda. Cool thing is cos where we live is so quiet he doesn't have security gaurds or anything outside his house so I could just go knock on his door:) He probably has like a doorman or something though who will tell me to bugger off.
