Concerning my stories.
Since I’m going on a two-week vacation, I figured I’d let you guys know what’s coming up as far as stories go. First off, you guys know how bad I am at updating. And when I do, they’re short, right? Well, that’s a habit I‘m trying to break.
Anyways, here’s the update calendar as far as the stories I have up now AND upcoming stories go.
I have no new ideas for oneshots.
Current Stories
Because Of A Song
I will try to update this before I leave, but like it says on my profile, inspiration is slowly dying. But I love this story and I know you guys do, too, so I’m really going to try. The update will be more about Lauren and Joe’s relationship, but I’m not sure if I‘m going to add a flashback or just have Lauren relay the information. Either way, I’m hoping that it will turn out longer than my usual updates, because it’s been so long since I updated it and you faithful readers deserve it (: Next chapter coming in: June/July
A Year To Remember
Expect an update (or two, depending) in July. Seeing as I got my inspiration for this story the last time I went to Disney (MAJOR clue right there, guys), there’s a high chance that I’ll catch the writing bug for it again. I really liked the last chapter I wrote, and like I said in the author‘s note, now is when it gets interesting. AYTR is probably my least favorite story reader-wise, but I still love it and I‘m thankful for the readers I do have. Next chapter coming in: July/August
Finding Jane
Ah, my baby. At the moment at least. I was laying in bed last night and it occurred to me that, sadly, I lost my ideas for this story because I haven’t written it in awhile. I almost cried. That’s how mad I was. I should have written them down. UGH. But things happen, right? And I just have to move on. A lot of people have been asking me if I am going to update FJ, and I am, but I’m honestly not sure when that is going to be. I feel horrible because I know you guys love the story, and I’m working on it, I swear, but just hold on. There will be an update, possibly before my trip, but if not, then sometime shortly afterward. Next chapter coming in: June/July
Crazy Dreams
Seeing as I just updated this, I probably won’t update it until July. But have no fear, the first state and (gasp) cute boys are in the next chapter. Stay tuned (: And, just an added note, this story will probably be my longest story. If they’re going to hit all 50 states, I’d say at least 50 chapters would be appropriate, right? Sorry if that’s too long, but hey! If my writing improves, it could be a good book someday, right? (: Next chapter coming in: July
It Won’t Be The Same
First of all, a few people have said that IWBTS reminds them of My Sister’s Keeper. Although I have never read that book, I know the basic plotline because I’ve seen the previews for the movie and I can honestly say that IWBTS is nothing like it. Although the sister is sick, Melanie was (obviously, since she’s older and the sister just found out that she is sick) not created to help her sister. But if you’re comparing my writing to that of Jodi Picoult, then thanks. That’s a great compliment. Next chapter coming in: July
The City That Never Sleeps
I never actually wrote a chapter of this. AHAHA! So I’ll have to write TWO chapters before I post it. And to be honest, I love the idea, but I have no idea where I am going with it, even though it seems like I do based on the summary. It’s basically about a young girl from Worcester, England who loves photography and chooses to come to New York for the summer. But what happens over that summer will change her life. Next chapter coming in: August
New Stories
Stories I’m Bringing Back
Note: with each of these stories that I am bringing back, I will not post the first chapter until I’ve written another chapter, just to make sure that I’m still in the groove with ideas and such.
Dance With Me
DWM is basically about a 17 year old professional dancer named Julia. She goes on tour with a certain Disney star, makes friends, enemies, and everything in-between. Oh, and everybody’s favorite part, the love triangle (: This is also dedicated to my lovely friend Mandie. And I know this sounds sucky, but it’s really not. Everybody loved it before. Coming in: July
Enchantment
Oh, wow is this a whirlwind ride. I think I’ve brought back and then deleted this story 3 times? Yeah, that sounds about right. But I’m determined. And many people loved this each time I posted it. I’ve gained new readers and new subscribers. But I can’t promise anything. Anyway, this story is about a girl who happens to be the princess of a country called Monrovia. Her name is Alison Holland. But drama ensues and she decides to flee to America, where many adventures await her, including a handsome Jonas (: Coming in: July/August
Broadway Star
BS (funny acronym, eh?) is about a 16 year old girl named Nicole Everling who is has been on Broadway since the age of 7. She was in Les Miserables with Nick Jonas and they are best friends. Cliché, right? AHAHA! I guess (: But then she lands the role of Sandy in Grease and her co-star, Jacob, who landed Danny, and her hit it off. So who will she end up with? The adorable best friend who’s always been there for her? Or the hilarious co-star who’s looks and charm make her swoon? Coming in: July/August
Seventeen Forever
SF is loosely based on the song Seventeen Forever by Metro Station, hence the name of the story. There are three main characters, therefore three points of view (POV). Brianna Lexington is the blonde, hippy, earth-friendly, vegetarian of the group. Elena Cudroe is the brunette, outgoing, animal-loving, dreamer of the group. And Matthew Stuart is the piano-playing, sport-loving, roller coaster fanatic of the group. Apart, they are separate people. Together, they are inseparable. Coming in: July/August
Completely New Stories
Burning Bridges
BB is about two teenagers. Justin Banks is a wealthy kid from Manhattan who gives nothing, but receives everything. Samantha Allen is a peasant worker living in a tenement in Manhattan. One higher class, one lower class. One who works for everything, one who is just plain lazy. When these two meet, sparks are formed. Literally. Basically what the title suggests. Idea credit from Bridges by Lifehouse. Coming in: July
Model Madness
MM is about, duh, a model who is mad (: Bethany Carter is the newest rising star. Her modeling career is sparking tons of discussions. Girls everywhere envy her beauty and grace, while the guys all want her for their own. Bethany seems like the perfect girl: sweet, caring, and absolutely flawless, but deep down, Bethany is a hardcore bad girl. Her parents think that she's modeling to prove to them that she's changed. But Bethany has other plans. This story is dedicated to the lovely Bethany. And just a heads up, I got this idea in January. Yeah, haven’t even given it a second thought until now. AHAHA! Coming in: August
The Night From Hell
TNFH is the kind of story I’ve always been afraid to write, but I’m taking that leap. It’s about a girl named Haley Morgan who has everything she's ever wanted: parents who give her whatever she wants, a best friend who is always there for her, and a boyfriend who fulfills her dreams. At 16 years of age and with parents who are the most well-known people in all of Texas, life's going pretty well for her. But Haley will soon learn that with all of her parents' money, things can go from amazing to horrific in a matter of hours. And just when you think you're safe, it happens. Note: This story is not for the weak at heart. If you are under the age of 14 or cannot handle intense scenes, I suggest you do not read this story. It will contain language, brutal violence, and scenes of a graphic nature. It is rated R for a reason. You have officially been warned. Coming in: August
Second Chances
Here’s the thing: I love the layout, I love the girl it’s dedicated to (one of my best friends Blair), but I have absolutely no idea where this is going. All I have is those two lines in the summary. This could quite possibly be taken down. If it does, I’ll write Blair something else. No worries (: Coming in: August
Dates are NOT final and are subject to change.
Well, that’s it! Sadly, I probably will not be able to find time to write on this trip. But I promise that if I do, I definitely will (:

I'm liking The City That Never Sleeps, ahhh! Because I also, am from Worcester, England! Haha, that is so cool! I thought my city was just freaking unknown to everyone, especially americans, since it's kind of shadowed by Birmingham... :D
