Stereos Concert!
I know that there are a few people on here who have heard of this band, so I thought I would post a journal from the concert last night. Sorry the pictures are so big. The evening started off with me and my friend getting in the huge line before the doors opened. Then pretty soon these girls were walking up and down the line with a heavy duty camera and a Much Music microphone. Then Miles appeared out of nowhere and took the mic and started interviewing people. So he started talking to the girls behind me, and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to snap this picture:

When I took the picture, it caught his attention. He turned to me and told me that I had to scream his name during the concert. I told him I would. The girl holding the camera told us all to scream his name right then, so this is him cheering us on:

So I might be on Much Music because he talked to me when the camera was on!!! That would be so cool lol. I'll spare you all the details of the opening acts: there were three. Although I did fall in love with one of the drummers. I found him after the show and told him how good he was, so he gave me a hug and got a picture with me:

Okay, so back to Stereos. My camera sucks and I got stuck behind a gargantuan 6-foot-a hundred guy for most of the set, but I managed to get around him eventually. So I don't have many good pictures, but I'll show you some.

I really couldn't get any good ones of Aaron because he was too far back on the stage.

I just thought this one was kind of cool because it's all red.
Then everyone got this huge surprise. Mark Spicoluk came out on stage! For those of you who don't know who Mark is, he used to be a bass player, and now he works for Universal Music in Canada.

He had a gift for the boys, and he thought that since he's from Edmonton and they are too it was the best place to do it. The single Summer Girl went gold! So he gave them the plaques onstage before they performed the song:

We waited outside for so long afterward, but the guys were doing a whole bunch of interviews backstage so we left about an hour after the show. The club staff was talking about how some girls wouldn't leave, so we decided it was time to go. I've got my fingers crossed that I'll wind up on Much lol.

You are so lucky! I would have loved to see those guys in concert. I have a newfound obsession with Summer Girls.. which I creepily just realized is playing.. That was so weird lol.
