Not to offend anyone but I don't really believe in the "One Unamed God" thing, with the bible and the praying and the going to church and the commandments and whole lot of other junk I don't give a crap about. I've always believed in some kind of ultimate "Being" so to speak but I don't want to go to church, I don't read the bible, and I NEVER pray. To me the bible has too many holes that just need to be explained. The Catholic Church (Our, being my mom dad and sister, religion. My bro is agnostic) Is just too sexist and has too many things I don't believe in, such as animals not having souls and not going to Heaven.
So I've made my own religion with my god being Nina. She's a 'normal' girl who created the earth because she was lonely and wanted friends. She doesn't demand praying, just a little recognition. She's more like a friend or a sister than a "Father" who demands that we love him and pray to him and go to chuch. To me the Unamed God is just an overlord who's really selfish. I mean think about it- He basically says "If you worship me I'll let you into heaven and you can meet me and my son Jesus who died for you even though you didn't ask him to nor did you ask to be 'saved'" I mean would you take renting an apartment if the landlord said that you had to worship him? I wouldn't! So yeah that's about it. I didn't really mean to offend anyone with this I really just felt like saying some stuff that I've thought about regarding Christianity.

I'm sorry you feel that way about God.
He loves you, despite your lack of faith.
If you don't want to be Catholic, then don't.
But give Christianity another chance.
Don't be so quick to judge, you have your whole life ahead of you!

Truthfully, calling it junk IS a bit rude, but I also think that if you don't stand by your convictions once you make them, then there's no point in continuing any farther.
I doubt anyone will agree with that.....*rueful grin*

you should look into Intelligent Design.
it goes along with the belief that a higher being created the world, but doesn't name that person as God.
and if you didn't want to offend anyone you shouldn't have called aspects of christian religion "junk".
