Co-writer down! Co-writer down! Medic! MEDIC! [I am in pain.]
Hey, guys, my favorite co-writer in the world, Audrey T., is currently in the hospital with the flu, and is also quite recently missing her appendix. So you should go to her profile and leave her lots of chiding comments about how it's not cool to get sick, and how she'd better get well now, or else you'll all beat her up (or whatever the Internet version of beating someone up is).
Or, you can just be nice and wish for her to get well soon, or something. I mean, that's the lame way to go, but whatever, each to their own.

I'm so sunburned right now...it's painful, and I am red. I spend seven hours out in the sun every weekday, now, as I work for the camp. It's not very pleasant. I slather on sunscreen, but I was so pale to begin with that even if I was outside for only an hour a day, I'd burn, sunscreen or not.
After work today, I was dumb enough to go over to my neighbor's house and swim in her pool. Yeah. That helped.
Audrey T., I demand you post pictures of your surgery stitches as soon as you can. To make things even, I will promise to post a picture of me and my - rather embarrassing - sunburn. You'll be Frankenstein, I'll be a lobster. Sounds fair, right?
Camp is just burning me out, in more ways than one. I get home, and I'm so dead that I can barely think. Yesterday, some friends talked me into going out for an early dinner, and I was so tired that I lay down in the booth right there in the restaurant, and fell asleep. Yeah. I'm a classy lady.
"Hell, she must be tired," commented Branden. "She's not even touching her hummus. And that's d*mn good hummus!"
Poor hummus. Why did I forsake thee?
I also feel bad because I haven't 1.) helped to start nor participated in the RP that Sardonic Grin and I thought up and made a thread for, and 2.) nor have I updated No Man's Land like I said I would. I go to sit in front of the computer, and within ten minutes I'm falling asleep. I fell asleep during an AIM conversation with Cherry Road last night, and I still feel bad about that.
I am a sorry excuse for a Mibbian right now. Sorry about that.

Go read this story. (The aforementioned co-write between Audrey and I.) Our take on a known bandfic cliche. Tré Cool/OC. You know you're interested. Unless you're not. And if you're not, then you're not cool. Ish.

Poor Audrey T. Actually I heard about that because I'm a stalker and read the conversation between you two. I'm generally never in the sun, so on the odd time it catches me I burn like h*ll. Honestly, I don't tan, I'm really pale in winter, spring and autumn and bright red in summer. I feel your pain. Or...I would if it was summer.

How'd you know Audrey was in the hospital?
I hope she feels better =(

Aloe is amazing for sunburns. It just feels so good/
I still shop with my mom and I'm proud of it too :D

I fee like a terrible person because I never wished Audrey "Get well Soon" earlier.
My teacher once was testing out conditioners (at Walmart) by smelling them, and she squirted conditioner on her face.

v My mom and I just went to Wal-Mart (what? Yeah, I still shop with my mom, what of it?) and found some aloe. We both need it so much, we opened up the bottle right there in the aisle and began to use it. One of the stock boys gave us a dirty look, but whatever, we bought it anyway.

When you have the sunburn already, aloe is amazing. I went on vacation last year and I was burned and my mother got the real aloe plant and put it on my skin...soo good.
Aloe is also very yummy in drinks :)

On the radio they were talking about sunburn and someone said something about using tomatoes. So maybe get some tomatoes and just rub them wherever the sunburn hurts? Or use aloe.

Poor girl, I'll leave her a get well soon message
Dancing Cavemen:Hmm...baby sunblock? That's interesting, I'm going to Europe in the summer and I get burned sometimes...hmm...

It doesn't get much worse than burning a square on your chest and have everything else ghostly pale - that happened to me, when I was driving to the seaside.
I thought it wouldn't burn me in the car, guess I was wrong.
Now, instead of a cleavage, I have a peeling burn. :(
I feel for you, I really do.
I wear 50+ children's sunblock, it helps me, no burns, not even color. Then again, I don't expose myself to sun all that much.

Every Mibbian has their days, chicka. It's happened to me before.
Dancing Caveman Baby sunblock has always worked for me :)

Hmm. Perhaps I should've scrolled all the way down before commenting on your journal about Audrey. XD
Dancing Caveman, June 25th, 2009 at 02:21:59am
So she is in the hospital? Poor girl. :(
One of my friends is super pale, and she uses baby sunblock when she has to be outside. One of the times we went to Warped Tour, I slathered on the SPF 75 Sports Sunblock all over me. I had forgotten my neck, so Amanda let me use her baby sunblock, and when I got home- I was completely burned everywhere, except for my neck.
Maybe try some of that?
