Hey, I have an idea. How about everyone shuts up about Eliza Cuts / Siep, already? [And other important things.]
Oh, Eliza Cuts Siep. I'm already getting so sick of hearing everyone freaking the hell out because she apparently auditioned for American Idol, and got through to the first round. Everyone is actually angry about that? I mean...really?
She sang before we even knew she was with Gerard. I remembering seeing YouTube videos of her singing karaoke and such, and she wasn't half-bad. She even has her own band, now. So what if she wants to be involved in music? Gerard is married to another woman and has a kid with her. He's moved on. Eliza is allowed to as well, and her just being involved in music doesn't mean that she has any connection left with Gerard. She spent years being on tours with musicians, and being involved with that lifestyle - if she wants to take a stab at being on the other side, not just the side of assistants and hair stylists...so?
Someone actually told me, "This will never end!" and I just don't get it. She is no longer with Gerard. It wasn't even our business what she did with her life when she was with him, so why the hell should anyone care now that she has nothing to do with him? For god's sake, people. The behavior I've seen over this whole thing is just petty and immature. But then again, so was the general behavior when she actually was dating Gerard, so I don't know why this surprises me.
Do you want to know why Eliza is still connected with Gerard? The actual, without-a-doubt reason? The fans. If they would just let it go, like they f*cking should, all of the Eliza-related drama would just...go away. Interesting how that works, right? I know, what a novel idea. But seriously.
Let it go.
Trust me, you'll be all the better for it.

Work was weird today. I watched one counselor choke on her Gatorade and throw up, then triggering our camp director to throw up like five times in response.
Later, that same camp director stole the water hose when my group was at the giant slip-and-slide, drank as much water as he could, then slobbered an entire mouthful down my arm.
I suppose I didn't mind as much as I should. He's an *ss, but...he's covered in tattoos, and at that moment he wasn't wearing a shirt, so...you know. I let it go.
At the staff meeting, that same director and one of the male counselors were very disappointed to learn that they aren't allowed to wear their matching speedos to the water park field trip tomorrow. "But they even have the name of the camp on the fronts!" one protested. "They're bedazzled there!"
The director later made a very good point concerning one of the other counselors. "He gets beat every day at Capture the Flag by me, and some other kids. He's a semi-professional athlete. I'm an alcoholic. What's wrong with this picture?"
This is, of course, the same man who solved the problem of our destroyed and average-sized slip-and-slide by going to the hardware store and purchasing a giant white tarp, which he then spread along half of the enormous hillside, wet down with a hose, and then covered in dish-soap. "Watch this, watch this," he laughed. "The kids are gonna fly down this thing."
Our camp director has some problems. I'd add, "But he's working on them," but...well...that would be a lie.

I actually feel a lot of pity for Eliza. She never deserved people to act as they did towards her. Really, in the world of bands where there are rumours galore, what reason is there to hate her? Just let her live in peace. If she wants to give American Idol a shot then good on her. New experiences and all.
And a question: what's up with the two surnames? Has she changed her name or something?

My friends used tarp as a slip'n'slide once. The newer tarp burned the guy who was testing them, the older one didn't hurt.

gossipninja, we have no proof of that. Most of the rumors about her (half of which were laughable, at best) were brought to our attention from the accounts of jealous fangirls - I daresay I don't find stories to be all that reputable.
Remember, Gurren? I talked to you a while ago about her. One of the women involved with MCR that people had actual hate communities dedicated to? Because apparently, when a guy in a band you like goes off the market, that makes it okay to hate the woman he's with. Makes perfect sense, of course.

I don't even understand why people get involved with some band dudes personal life. Eh, I could care less. It's not my place to judge her.
I just think people should say outta it and leave Eliza (I like her name xD) alone.
It's her life, not some angsty 13 year olds.

Eliza Cuts is Gerard's ex. They broke up in 2007(i think) and there was a big huge fuss cause apperently she cheated or some such.(noone knows for sure)

v Yeah, agreed. Though I've taken a listen to some of her band's recent stuff, and compared to what she sounded like before, she is improving. She's good, not great, but if she works at it she can only keep getting better. And I mean, obviously she at least has the raw talent to get through the first round of American Idol, so she has to have something to work with in the first place.
