What Do You Think #2 [Abortion]
I know there are more of you guys out there, so lets have a little debate. You can comment as many times as you want, as long as it isn't with the same information. I wanna see what you guys think and I want to know what common majority says.
What are your views on abortion, and why? (please have some facts to back you up, and if not then just rant away).
Please try to cover some of the following:
Should Abortion be banned?
Is abortion for or against the common good?
Is abortion against the constitution?
Who's right do you think mean more? The mothers or the babies?
And Should fathers have a say on if the mother get an abortion?

and fathers should have some what of a say, but the final desicion should be the mothers choice.

I think it shouldn't be banned.
it's the persons right to choose what they want to happen.
At first I was totally against having an abortion, but now I'm having second thoughts. Having to go through pregnancy seems scary even when your just thinking about it. Are you ready to take care of that child that's growing inside you? Would you be able to part with that child if you decide to put him/her up for adoption?

I think that it is a woman's choice what she does, but I don't condone abortion. At all. I would never get one. But I don't really think the choice should be taken away. But, again. I dislike abortion; and do not support the procedure itself.

i don't think it should be banned, but i also don't beleive that these abortion clinics should be selling the fetus either- thats just wrong.

It's for the common good, I think. I think abortion is the best choice in certain situations.

I'm not sure about this one. But I think it shouldn't mattter if it was or not. It should be a mother's choice. It's a personal choice to make. The constitution shouldn't interfere with it.

The mother's. The child isn't born yet.

No. They aren't the one sacrificing their body for nine months.

abortion should only be allowed if
the mother would be put in danger by carrying this child, otherwise she should carry the child because
a) the mother's the one who had sex in the first place, most likely WITHOUT birth control. ( this is mostly for teenage moms)
b) is it the child's fault it was concived? why should it be murdered for the mistake of a careless girl or women? this is with the exception of rape, in that case it should still be carried, but set up for adoption.
Abortion is against the common good, it is murder, cold blooded legalized murder, of an innocent soul. As i said before why must it be murdered?
yes, abortion is against the constitution, it is going against the happiness of a child. abortion is should be called fetalcide- the murder of a fetus. it is just like infanticide-in which a baby is killed OUTSIDE the womb.
This brings me to the point of the mother's health. abortion could make a women infertile or cause her a number of diseases. it could scar her uterus. i cant remember anything else but if u like u can google it.
As disgusting as abortion is, if it continues, the mother should have complete say. as static said, the day men( not transgender men- i actually support these ppl) have babies, then they'll have a say. they have never felt childbirth or had a living creature actually DEPEND on them for its life. babies depend completely on their mothers, without them, babies would die. so a mother has the finnal decision on whether she can live with herself for murdering an innocent soul.
bty most mothers who've had abortions go into a depression and have deep regrets of doing it.
The babies have the most significance, they are innocent. the mothers have choices, have liberty. the baby cant speak for itself.
my last thing is: there is a reason ppl invented the concept of adoption. i find that a much better alternative.
give it away to a loving family if u cant care for it.
also, underage sex should be banned, these ppl r not ready for it and dont understand it.

I think it's neither for the common good or bad. It doesn't affect the common people, unless they are getting an abortion.
I think yes, it is. It protects the rights of citizens. Fetus aren't citizens until they're born and they have their S.S. card and birth certificate, in my opinion.
Mothers have more right. They are the ones holding the child in them. The baby doesn't exist without the mother.

To iPanda, banning underage sex would do nothing except have a lot of teenagers in and out of jail. And technically that's an invasion of privacy. They can't ban a choice of your own body that affects no one but the two people having sex. It's ridiculous to ban underage sex. Sorry.
